Andrew and team! I’m doing this!!! I have been following your channel for years and have been toying with the idea of moving to Mexico for years and we are FINALLY pulling the trigger- the main catalyst for NOW, not later is because we found out we are having our third (and last 🤣) baby. We conceived in Mexico and moving in less than 2 months. Selling everything and moving so we can get our other girls in school and settled so I can give birth and not only give our baby the gift of dual citizenship, but fast track the rest of our families permanent residency. You have always been an inspiration and I have learned so much from you! In the next year- I’m going to be in touch to see about incorporating my blockchain business in another country outside of the US so we will have our ducks in a row to expatriate the US fully for good in 5 years. Thanks, again. Would love to come to the NC Summit next year as well!

Most important thing: how was the birth? That's something that can scare some people; besides that, give birth in Brazil is almost like a no-brainer, very "easy" way to gather an extra citizenship.

@@sweethibiscus2514 I live in Ottawa, my boyfriend is in Cote d'ivoire at moment, his mother passed away 2 weeks before his visit, she was 95. His family has good connections, his sister was ambassador to Canada. He's getting his Cote d'Ivoire passport having let his old one expire a long time ago. For me I'll need a 3 year visa, and then work on getting citizenship, will get a lot of help from connections. I plan to import solar panels for my house and also help the poor relatives, by installing solar panels with internet routers so that they can start internet cafes. I also want to import used washing machines, many pay people to wash their clothes in a river. So with the washing machines again, the poor will have a business to get income from. All this I would pay with my cryptos.

The ultimate flex is having each kid be born in a different Latin american country. I wouldn't consider the US or canada. While they can be great options for future employees, i wouldn't bet on it and give them a citizenship that might also be a problem

Unfortunately in my immediate future, dual citizenship is not in my cards. This is by my life circumstances, along with my heritage and aspirations. 1) I am currently a US citizen. My career has been around defense and export controlled technology in the USA. I don't think I want to jeopardize that yet. 2) The backgrounds of my wife and I really don't create an any advantage. My with is a dual Vietnam and US citizen, but Vietnam is not a great passport compared to USA. My background from India doesn't allow dual, but allows OCI which I have. I also have a waiver for Vietnam in my US passport. 3) The aspirations of my wife and I are Southeast Asia... namely Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia. Being a dual citizen in these places is either illegal or complicated if not born in one of those places. We like Southern Europe and Latin America, and have traveled extensively, but we do not really see the benefit yet...maybe if we retire there, but more likely we are looking at Southeast Asia for retirement.

@chronicreader I have looked at Vietnam and it's in the cards. Yes, I qualify for appropriate residential visa. The question for me is not whether I get it, but what is it worth to me? When is it worth it? Right now, as I am working as a professional in the USA at the height of my career, the investment is not a great one. However, when I do retire, and we both want Vietnam, then it becomes a sound investment. The visa is renewed every 5 years. My wife and I like Europe... particularly Spain...but much as we travel to Europe, we really don't see ourselves retiring in Europe. As I am currently a working professional in the USA, working in export controlled technology... defense related...I do not want to jeopardize anything until I retire. Which is why I have not done anything yet.
