Just bought a '23 Rebel in Delmonico Red...love it! I wanted to say one thing...when you review these Ram trucks you always leave the infotainment screen with a white background. I have the 12 inch screen, and was surprised to see you can change it to a dark screen...it's a thousand times better! It's beautiful! You should start letting people see the dark screen to see the difference. Thanks.

What should prices be exactly? With manufacturers still coming off supply chain issues, the price of manufacturing has risen, they aren't producing the same number of cars as they did before right now. On top of that, manufacturers are still innovating and providing you a vehicle with newer features. With all of that taken into consideration, should trucks still cost the same as previous generations?

@@malcolmn.5222 It's the sudden increase in price that is ridiculous. The past two years prices have increased 10 to 15% total, which is absurd. I'm fully aware of supply chain issues, and deal with them on a daily basis. That said, I'm worried Ram is starting to price themselves out of the market. You can get comparably equiped trucks from other manufacturers for less. Not to mention the other manufacturers haven't increased their prices at the same rate that Ram has. At one point they were the less expensive option, now that's not the case anymore.

This is no bargain at 67k, no leather, and missing safety features that are standard on other trucks. The Tremor you mention had many more options including leather, torson diff, 360 view cameras, beefed up suspension, etc.

Agreed . My 22 GT has floor console shift and leather , dual moon roof and fold out side door rails. 64.5k used with 2,500 miles.

Even if you upgrade to leather it still mentions Leather/Vinyl bucket seats. I just bought a 23 GT and that’s exactly how it’s described on the window sticker. Yes I did upgrade the seats and it’s the same language

I bought my 20 rebel for 44,400 out the door. Level 1 with the alpine and 8.4 screen. I got it in December of 2020. I guess I got a good deal.

That’s the only thing I really miss about my Rebel was the seats, I went from a 2019 TB to a 21 Rebel loved it but it was missing a lot of things that the TB had that I preferred. Now I’m in a 2023 TB love it.

In Denmark this car cost over 120.000$ - with only front seats, and you have to pay "envy" tax to the state for driving something like this. It cost 1200$ per 6 months. If you want rear seats in this base model, you would have to pay full tax, and this machine would cost near 190.000 $ .....

EXACTLY the same color and options other then the level one system I went for Level 2 and Retail Price came to 68-69k total. I can’t wait to get mine! It’s ordered, has a vin, just waiting for it to go into production.

Bought a "used" 22 Rebel GT. 2,500 miles . auto fold side rails , and gator bed cover. Full billet silver .Gray rims and skid plate matches great. 64.5k . Great deal. I miss the red interior but it has black leather with the floor console shift. I'd be happy with either ! (vented fronts too).

I'm glad I got my rebel before the prices skyrocketed. I paid 40k for mine used. it was a year old with 30k miles. There is no way in hell I'd buy a new truck at these prices. I'll keep mine till the wheels fall off then ill just put new wheels on it haha

@Johnny Joseph I've had zero issues. Alot of people complain about the airbag suspension failing but thays mostly for people in super cold climates and that doesn't affect me so it's been great. They do really well in the snow and I bought aftermarket duratracs for mine and they have been great tires for all weather so far only a little slippage in rain

Love the Rebel, but then again, the PRICE! I have looked at diagrams of the Hurricane engine and it looks like the design engineers had to add on every conceivable trick to pump out its numbers. An engineer's wet dream but a mechanic's nightmare when it needs to be fixed. It reminded me of a pile of tubing, wires, and metal parts scrambled under the hood. The French must have been involved in that concoction. I will stick with the 5.7L Hemi as long as it is offered.

Damn prices have gone up, I got my 2020 rebel loaded. Only things it didn’t have were air ride and larger gas tank, and sticker was $62,390. Paid $55000 before trade in.

Love my 2021 Rebel. Very similar to this truck but full leather, air suspension which at first I thought I'd never use but it's SOOOO handy when pulling a camping trailer because it self levels. Only thing I'm missing is the new gage cluster. I also have full sunroof and more features and I think I paid $57k out the door. Prices have gone up a bit.

Weird, I have a 23 with premium leather seats bed liner, 4x4 and everything else in the vid and it was sub 60k with all fees and taxes included. With that said sticker read 70k but as suggested stickers are easy to remove.

I guess the key now is when will dealers start negotiating and taking incentives again??? Tried getting new truck a few months ago and found out they all where nearly 10k more than my loaded 2019 trailboss and dealers would not negotiate at all and would not take my incentives.

I didn’t want Leather Seats. Idk how good of quality they are now a days but before getting in and out without steps (which I’ll order steps from a site I use) but the cracking or wrinkles it gets so easily if you’re not on top of taking care of them isn’t worth it. Now I’m OCD about cleaning and detailing. But I’d rather not have to deal with leather just personal preference.

Love that new instrument cluster… wish they had it in my now departed 19 Ram Big Horn. The automakers have these in more cars and they are pretty nice. The offer those in the new Mini Coopers too, so when I decide if I want to get one of those to replace my 07 Cooper S, it will have to have the LCD instrumentation. Ben, likely long before you were born, *I* towed a U-haul cargo trailer with my Volvo 264GL sedan. I was hauling a washer dryer pair to my sister 200 miles away. It did the job but I’m sure some people thought the same thing. 😂

Ben there are quite a few things that are on this 2023 that weren't available in the 2019 model. Your truck was a pre pandemic model as well. With heavy inflation, supply chain issues, and more features than your 2019, im not surprised this is about 10k more than what you paid. Why would you expect this truck to cost the exact same as yours?

E Torque is no longer an option. It's not available without it unless you can afford a Laramie with diesel. I was a Mopar or no car. I refuse to buy E torque. Goodby RAM. Been wanting a 2500. Question. Do you have any info on the Ram 1500 lean? Left side sets lower than the right side about 1/2in on average. I guess for the TRX there is a Ram TSB which is a service bulletin that changes the springs on the left side. Thanks for any info you may have about this.

The camera he's using to record the video is capturing the refresh of the screen. You don't see it with the naked eye, but the camera can pick it up.

Don't buy they're a mechanic nightmare due to the design by engineering who didn't think of the mechanics that have to fix them. You will pay big time at a shop or if you do it yourself you will screw something up and void warranty
