The Catholic Church, in its document on the sacred liturgy and its supporting document (Sacrosanctam Conciliam and Musicam Sacram) indicates that "the perfect instrument of God's praise is the human voice." I cannot, after listening to this, do other than agree. And, at a Mass at our military base, the chaplain, a musician himself, offered this thought: "The language of heaven must be song. The Bible tells us that the angels and saints sing continuously to God. If they do it, and we are there, we'd better be ready to sing - of course, our voices will have improved."
@margelatutrandafirulgalben31563 жыл бұрын
That's why in the orthodox church the singing is only vocal. The voice is the God made musical instrument and He should be praised with His own created instrument.
