Thanks for this really helpful and informative review. I‘ve been trying to resist Thursday’s dailymate. I saw the “tech specs” in one shop that said 5 turns to uncap... I couldn’t believe it but seeing you at work made me a believer. Unfortunately this has killed an otherwise great pen for me. I have an Opus 88 that I love but it doesn’t get the use it deserves because it takes (just) 3 turns to uncap...

I love Benu pens, and especially the Euphoria model. This one looks comparable in size. I also wish that they had less threading (about 4 rotations to uncap is honestly too much). I would prefer thicker grip sections, but they are fine. My favourite things about them are the wet nibs and the fact that they have several sparkly designs which I like.

A fair review of this pen. I have three Benu pens being a fan of sparkle and unique (Skulls and Roses). The ink flow in all three is wet and quick. P.S. So enjoyed the video with Joost and Drew. The flow of conversation with sly jokes and facial expressions are worthy of Benu pens.

I love the Benus, but they got pricier and it takes some time to cap/uncap! Hope Benu and Opus88 change this system. Thank you for the presentation, Dr. Stephen!

Hi-ya Dr Brown, I think you should definitely keep this one, of course I would say this the colour is fab. However, a little sparkle is always fun and I believe everyone has to have some sparkles in their life. Also, its a load of fun init? Fun-Day-Friday's, reminds me Timmy Mallet a British children's tele entertainer that used to say it funday....funday....funday....Friday, so I think this needs to be your catchphrase with this pen. Beautiful design and writer, but that number of threads is a dealbreaker for me. I have acquired a lot of pens this year and am currently doing a pen analysis of my entire collection. I much prefer a snap or friction cap. I have a few pens that have threaded caps that I will keep but seriously considering if I want to sell the rest of my threaded cap pens.

Ha-ha-ha. Wild review. First, I have to say, that I don't care for Benu. I kept waiting on the edge of my seat for you to say, "I'm just fooling! This pen is ridiculous." But you didn't! Well, well, well. I not going to jump on this one, even so. Great nib. I loved your writing sample. That was fabulous. But, no, I am not going to buy a sparkly pen. Plus, the grip section is too skinny for me. This, despite the glowing review.
