You need to know how to order a döner. The guy will ask you "Mit allem" "With everything? and you have to answer "Mit allem" and the guy will ask you "Mit scharf" "with hot" and you have to say "mit scharf" which means "with hot". Actually, every turkish guy knows the right german expression, but even germans love to say it the wrong way.

^^ well it's not german, but it was created in Berlin... If you want to get real german food try Kassler mit Sauerkraut und Kartoffeln, Käsespätzle, Rinderzunge mit Madeirasauce und Spätzle, Sauerbraten, Eisbein, Saumagen oder so...

One of my happiest food memories of the years I lived in Germany was a greek restaurant a stones throw from the house which was a favourite of many. Gyros platter which was served with tsatziki and raw mild onions was to die for. If you're still in Europe and considering where to go next, might I suggest Antwerp, Belgium. The fast food restaurant scene, known as a 'Frituur' is uniquely different. Chips are served with mayo, and the chips in Belgium are arguably the best in the world. Aside from that the other menu options aren't found anywhere else in my experience and then there is the beer. I know drinks may not be a perfect match for a food vlogger but... The framboise (raspberry) beer, the kriek (cherry) beer and many others, are taste sensations never forgotten. There is also a tradition of seafood and herring especially and last but by no means least, there is the chocolate. Seek out the Abdijstraat in Wilrijk and at the NW end you'll find a branch of Leonidas, one of the best chocolate and pralines makers. It was a compulsory visit every time we were in town.

Okay. This is by far my most favorite video since I’m watching your vlogs... at least when it comes to food and food is life! 😄 I had the exact same dish at curry36 in Berlin! ☺️🙏🏼 #currywursttwins I eat Döner basically every third day...not with chicken though. You should have tried veal. Döner is cheap, delicious and they say it’s the healthiest fast food!😌 Story time: A Turkish man invented the Döner in Berlin. The original kebap dish is from Turkey where they at it as a full meal on a plate. But since Berlin is a big city and people are in a rush always a clever Turkish man put it in a flat bread and invented the Döner. God bless this man 😂❤️ I seriously get so hungry every time I watch your vlogs, girl! 😂

Hey, Great VLOG. You realy made it fun to watch, thank you!One little extra explanation to the difference between Gyros and „Meat from that giant turning meat thing“ in the following named „Döner-meat“Gyros are actual steaks that are freshly stapled every day around this turning grill - Döner-Meat is chopped and pressed lower quality meat, that was deep frozen, then delivered to the restaurant and their put as a whole at the grill.

Beef Rouladen is my favourite all time German food, served with gravy slathered atop it and dumplings, also slathered in gravy made from the Rouladen, my mom used to make it when she was alive, it's to die for! BTW, my parents immigrated to Canada from Germany.

frederick j. moller I grew up with this food. My grandma and her maid made two giant pots full of potato dumplings for half the village every Saturday. And we had Rouladen about once a month. You can make them yourself. There are lots of videos online.

rouladen are quite easy to make... get urself a flat 20cm long 10cm wide beef strip. put a bit of mustard on it(hot or medium hot, not sweet mustard(dijon would be a good substitute)) then 2 bacon strips...next u roll it around a sour pickle(dill or regular: depends on taste). fixate the roll with 1-2 toothpicks and then u fry it in a pan...after 2 minutes u put a dark gravy mixture of ur liking to it and put it in the oven for about 20 minutes...there u go enjoy ur selfmade rinderrouladen^^

Great video! There are lots of different ingredients restaurants that serve döner put into their döner kebab. It definitely varies based on the city and even the restaurant. I never had one with potato in it, nor have I been to a place that offered potato's as an option. Sounds good though. The one I always went to didn't put red onions, chicken or feta cheese in it either, but instead red cabbage, lahm, and white onions.

REza Cage lol of course that was a Berlin Döner. The place she went to is well known among true berliners for a good Gemüsekebap (vegetable-chicken kebab). The Mustafa one is overhyped and not worth the wait. The past around 10 years Gemüsekebap got more and more popular. The simple and traditional Berlin kebab though is still very popular

Next time get the traditional lamb kebab, it's way better. Pfannkuchen means pan cake, and in most parts of Germany that's what it is. Only in parts of east Germany the Berliner are called Pfannkuchen and pan cakes are Eierkuchen (egg cakes), which makes no sense at all because most cakes contain eggs.
