Couldn't you guys pay the poor composer who wrote those songs, did you really have to steal the sample audio(s) from Audiojungle? It's not like you guys have a great rep to begin with.

Honken what are the songs
@Honken7 жыл бұрын
After 9 minutes or so you hear "AudioJungle!" several times, which is an audio-stamp that is used by the site AudioJungle (to prevent stealing samples) where many indie composers sell their songs to try and make a living.

I am not sure how I would know or how you'd be able to find it. Ask @FloGrappling? I don't think they've written down which songs they've stolen, but it might be worth a shot.

Fire Paretti (sorry if I mis-spelled that). He made some mistakes in your strength and conditioning. It bothers me to see this from coaches who train high level athletes. I'm sure they are getting high level hourly rates, too. Sorry to post something negative. I just hate seeing this. Just like with Galvao.
@JuanFernandez-vy8fd7 жыл бұрын
hey, could you mark the mistakes? what do you suggest instead? thanks!

I see bad technique in squad (Galvao)
@Honken7 жыл бұрын
These weird, gadgetty, circuit-based-grade-school-PE-class-circus routines are solely performed by grapplers due to a grave misunderstanding of the word "specificity". No other high level athletes train like this. The guy literally says "high intensity, low volume exercises that don't interfere with his jiu jitsu", then they cut to a clip of him whacking a sandbag in Farias balls for high reps. The entire segment is low intensity, high volume randomly banded strap-on lifts that you haven't seen before, _for a reason_. Strength training is a science which pertains to building strength, which is a physical attribute that _isn't dependent on what sport you compete in_. Strength is strength. The ability to _demonstrate_ strength is called sport skill. You don't get better at BJJ by doing squats wearing a strap on sandbag, and it sure in hell ain't the best of ways to get stronger either.
@to_a_nico6 жыл бұрын
@Honken do you even train jiu-jitsu bro? Yeah, I didnt think so. He isnt getting whacked in the balls with a sandbag lol. He is doing plyometric x-guard drills with a heavy bag. But you wouldn't know what that is since you are obviously speaking from a place of complete ignorance. So strength is what, how much ya bench?? ROFL Yeah, NFL athletes don't do plyometric training?... yeah right. haha you're a real jokester bud. Randomly banded strap-on lifts? Resistance bands improving the power of your shot (that's a grappling term, may want to look it up) or posture while standing in opponents closed guard is not random. It's actually wonderful training, and you now just look like an ass.
@Honken6 жыл бұрын
Yeah bro dude yeah fuck lol yeah! I'm a two stripe blue belt. Strength is force production, and your ability to demonstrate that force production in your given sport. If your sport is heavily reliant on upper body pushing, then yes, how much you bench is very relevant. Resistance bands are great for non-specific volume, or learning tools. They're very unreliable in terms of quantifying performed work, a better option for i.e. posturing in top closed guard would be some actual hip extension movement like deadlifts, RDLS, skwaats as these movements are easily trained and progressed. I highly suggest reading Starting Strength or Scientific Principles of Strength Training if you're interested in dwelving into the subject of strength training. Bro :)
