I love evo IV shame mitsu only made a bunch of them in lhd. And they have those engine problems.

RHD is the correct word (Y). They are supposed to be Japanese Market Only Car aka JDM, so no chance for lhd car

ConsLife - F no, i know the car is japanese but still no great driver choose rhd over lhd and thats a fact. Drivers like mcrae meeke burns ecc. None of them choose rhd over lhd for rallying.

Doktor Hachi Roku 7 bolt engine crankwalk, the awd system stresses the engine too much and in the end it gives up. Not a mechanic but that's what've heard. However mitsu fix this with the evo 5 and upwards.

Marfran Dema the cars were lhd because they were being driven on the continent not because the driver preferred lhd.

The evo 4 had split bearings for the axial movement and Evo 5 got them integrated in the axial bearing which mended the problem with crankwalk. So It´s not the awd system. But a changing to heavier clutch does worsen the problem. With an early evo you dont want to engage the clutch more than nessecary because that puts pressure axially on the crankshaft which wears down the axial bearing and creates crankwalk.
