I really like the way you show where you went on the map at the end of your videos. It makes it so much easier to find the place on Google Earth! Thanks for the great trip

Nice trip out. Got to enjoy these conditions while they last. Soon be zipped up in the rain and the clag. Early starts and plenty of water.

I have all good intentions to start walking early but then it always seems to be 10oclock by the time I get parked up haha usually bagging the last space 👍

Stunning views from start to finish. Old mill looked good enough to be a jigsaw puzzle. The river looked very inviting, it was good to see you and Andy cooling off. The walk was a bit scary in places, glad you all made it. Best wishes to you all. Take care.

Oh my Tracey, what a wonderful video. Amazing views all along the way. In all that heat it looked a steep pull up mind! The terrific drone footage gave a fabulous view of all the fells and surrounding scenery. I hadn't heard of the Tarn of Leaves so I must get out more. You looked like you all needed that that dip. Andy may have taken his water shoes but poor old Billy Bob had forgotten to pack his bathers so had to make do with a paddle instead 😂😂 The old mill looks very scenic. Bet it can look very atmospheric given the right conditions. You mention Andy doing Bessyboot but a different route. Have you got a link? Cheers and thanks for taking us along on a great walk.

I have asked Andy to put a link on his route he will do that now so you can head over to AndrewFosterRockStar on his KZbin channel and search for Bessyboot from Big Stangar Gill then look in description you should find a gpx link of his route. You can click on it and it works with most walking apps. Any probs let me know or Andy. Cheers for watching and the positive comments 👍

Hi Tracey, That was a bit steep, I could hear you out of breath, even Andy looked like he was finding it hard going, even hanging on to Billy not sure if he was hitching a ride or because there were sheep. I’d have been a speck in the distance behind. I’m still giggling, wondering how you managed to get your bum stuck, is there drone footage from Andy?? You sent me off to Google “rotten stone” to find out its an actual thing presumably mined at some stage apparently it’s usually weathered limestone mixed with diatomaceous, amorphous, or crystalline silica. It has similar applications to pumice. See, its an education. I bet being submerged in cold running water was breath-taking, and I notice others seem to be enjoying “map and scissor time” as well! Cheers Graham
