Watching this in 2021 it is interesting and somewhat amusing to see your optimism about 2020. I’m here because I was recently diagnosed AS & ADHD. I appreciate your content.

For young people kouth.com (or kooth.com I can't remember the spelling) is very helpful, it has user published articles and discussions, it's completely anonymous, it's free, you can drop in or book a session, you speak to counsellors who support you for any mental health issue or condition (e.g. Autism, ADHD, OCD etc), it has a mood diary/journal, nothing is off limits to talk about (to counsellors, there are guidelines for the discussion forums and articles)

There is the Adult Autism Spectrum Cohort - UK for older autistic adults but it is primarily an autism research where they send out online surveys for older autistic adults to take part in as well as autistica which do online surveys. There are autism support groups for older autistic adults who have been diagnosed as an older adult in their 40's up to their 80's. The NAS autism did not help me with me specific autism support and I am still waiting for an email befriender when I submitted my application last year. They don't have any autism mentors for autistic older adults as I asked for one as there autism mentor services are in London. There is nothing in Thurrock for autistic older adults except for young adults, parents and children.

Hi there, What you are saying is where my two sons are, but also little understanding at all from general practitioners whom did little to nothing when they were younger, even though one son has autism and mental handicap attended special school the other son admits to being Asperger and was tested for this but not until adulthood, and many of these organizations mean well but cannot help because they have inundated with requests for help.

National autistic society are on fence about ABA, acquired behaviour analysis, They don't fully agree with it but they don't condone it. A lot of people who watch this channel know Stephanie channel. And she did a 2 hours video on ABA. For anyone who never heard of ABA.

There was a talk recently by the controversial autism clinician. Prof Simon Baron Cohen. Talking about high level Intro gin in the womb of the mother. And it's defiently wrong autism is inherited because nether of my parents have it, A autistic mother odds are lot higher they will have a autistic child. Which is Tony Attwood clinical opionon. So cause of autism the development of the brain in the womb is a big one. Being born 2 weeks late is not another cause of autism. Even Though it does feel like it sometimes. Baron Cohen talked of course he did about it is a larger amount of boys born with autism than girls. And that it could be now down to 2 boys for 1 girl which is still high ratio of males. Even 2 to 1 it's double male babies than female born with autism. Autism research they're getting closer to what causes autism but not there yet. But there is more science now on autism unlike 20 years ago. That was my latest knowledge on that website page.
