Bit of an editing tip. When you do ‘hand to lens’ transitions you can apply a black layer fading in quite quickly and then fully cutting off on transition if your hand isn’t completely over the camera

It's such an awesome transformation! It's simple, robust and rugged but it's not overbuilt and still has everything you need. Well done! I found the cigarette lighter socket was still useful for fans and string lights so I replaced the Merit socket on my trailer's panel with a Quick charge 4 USB A and USB C, which was incredibly useful so we can keep the phones with us in the tent and then fully charge them in the time it takes us to make breakfast. Don't forget to leave a space so you can leave things plugged into the USB ports while the hatch is closed.

Get a tank made to fit the LHS of the draw. Wire in a water pump to a hose. Cut a hole in your drop down bench and put a removable stainless sink in it for dishes. Then cut a chopping board to sit inside the sink to have a flat bench again. You gain a sink for washing up, and can still use the bench normally too.

@@RoamLyfe had it in the back of my tub for around 7 years and it's been fine. I just have it wired up to a switch panel and have a manual ball valve so i can turn it off incase it does fail. Then i have a garden hose fitting at the end of my drawers that i connect a 2m long hose with one of those multi spray garden hose nozzles. Works a treat

That little spot you have left would be good for a little water outlet/hose, just cause its beside the table, so easy access for cooking and washing hands. Put a water tank under the trailer so it's out of the way, a little air compressor to build pressure in the water tank and also for tyres 👌 The trailers lookin absolutely awesome so far bud.

Hey mate, loving this build. As a No5 owner myself, just wondering if you've done a test tow? These things are known for swaying so violently behind the tow vehicle, you MUST HAVE BALL WEIGHT on these trailers. At least 60/40 weight in front of axle. Hopefully what ever goes in that tool box is heavier than the full draw and fridge.
@RoamLyfe
@RoamLyfe 2 жыл бұрын
Hey mate! Thanks for the comment!! I will be weighing the trailer at the end to work out me weights! Currently it has only -1kg on the draw bar, if it needs it I will weld some weights underneath! I still have some ideas for the front tho so I’ll see what happens!!

Great Work - this looks really good - Well done!! - pretty much what i have in mind for my trailer - I notice that like my trailer your trailers top door has quite a bit of available space...(not sure if you have a plan for that space yet?) but as an idea what i am doing with mine is 6mm ply board cut to the size of the inside of the door. supported by some aluminium tubing on hinges on one end and then with a lock or 2 holding on the other end. That's where i will storing light items like fishing rods and tackle as an example... Good work so far the trailer is really coming together now!! Lots of fun
@RoamLyfe
@RoamLyfe 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate!! That is a great idea for yours! I made room in the lid only for the fact that I don’t have much height left after putting the floor in, so the added space in the lid is just for height in the tub it self! I can fit camp chairs etc in there now!
