Why do I think that Ryan would have an excellent shot at being a real detective, or an actor portraying one? Is it his deductive powers, his deliberate and lucid delivery of the facts, or the awkwardness of his gait and stance, lulling wrong-doers into a false sense of security? Perhaps all three.

Or, cheaper cruiser gear - Metallica t-shirt, Wrangler jeans, cowboy boots. But I guess Fortnine doesn't sell those. Great video, I'm actually considering those boots, especially knowing a small section of the sole of my foot will be protected by D3O.

Definitely. I just know a lot of guys that don't gear up and that would be their "cheap cruiser gear" list. I'm a ATTGAT guy, so it was mostly sarcasm. I'm actually surprised Ryan included a half helmet...but not surprised he chose a jacket and pants that made it look like he was going to practise with an all-dads Eagles cover band.

The Good: Olympia is the best value in jackets and pants, hands down. As a denizen of the Pacific NW, I scoff at z-liner jackets. No point staying dry underneath when your jacket is sponging up several pounds of rain. Especially during the 9 month wet season here, you will never be dry again. Sure, there's Gore-tex, but it's only slightly better and it's damn expensive. Over-under liners are the way to go. The Schampa Tube is the best part of this video. I love how you completely ignored the ten correct ways to wear it for 10 hilarious ones instead! I especially laughed because I've totally used mine (Buff brand) as a beer koozie! I've always ridden with two of these tube scarves; one as a helmet liner to keep my lid from getting funky and to protect my fabulous hair, and one to protect my neck and face from debris and the elements. When it's really chilly I layer the both together and go double balaclava. The Bad: I bought a pair of Z1R gloves on your recommendation (the Icon Pursuit clones) and was so deeply disappointed that I returned them. 😔 The Ugly: A shorty helmet?! Dear God, man, are you outside of your mind?! 😲
@ant20116 жыл бұрын
Nishidake he will be (outside his mind) if he gets in an accident. That said cruiser riders are the least likely to buy full face helmets. Statistically, and from a marketing vantage point, the short helmet was the best choice from the video.

Hey my man, I am a cruiser rider and I appreciate the info but maybe its just me, theres no way I am gonna buy $230 pants and $180 boots. You say they feel just like carhart and thats exactly what I wear riding. Yeah I hear ya they may help more then carharts in a slide but dang, $230? The boots, they are more expensive then Harley boots and I cant even afford those, lol. Well I guess I can I just cant justify that when boots like Georgia Boots or Rocky Boots are out there and are just as good for less then half of what you illustrated. Not knocking your vid because I really enjoy them, its just not my world because I dont have that disposable income andthere are so many good products out there for so much less. I.E. The Street and Steel jacket from Cycle Gear when on sale is $150 and a rock solid jacket with removable liner. Loved the 5/8 helmet comment, that was funny.

Any chance i could convince you to review some motorcycle efficient mounts, brackets, or holsters for a handgun? I have my ccw and as such always carry my pistol with me everywhere but on bikes an inside the waistband holster can be very uncomfortable. Outside the waistband holsters are still uncomfortable and definitive cop bait. A mounted holster would be very handy particularly if one exists that can be concealed in someway.
