How is the vice holding up ?thanks
@fuzzyfultz2 жыл бұрын
@@filipe6953 I put it up for a back up. It did well and tied a lot of jigs on it. I now have the Peak rotary vise and love it. Have to say the Peak has great features that you would find a very expensive vise, but around $180- $200. Love it. Tied a lot of jigs on it and it’s awesome. Should last me lifetime.

Any chance you would do an update on how this vise (or hasn't) held up over the past 3 years?

Hello do you have an ideas about how heavy is the base? Thank you
@fuzzyfultz3 жыл бұрын
The base is decently heavy, but still needs support. I drilled three holes in mine and mounted to my tying base. Works great. Wished I could add a photo here.
@skylazart3 жыл бұрын
@@fuzzyfultz I believe 4 small pieces of wood in L shape could be used to hold in place on your desk and you could rotate them to release the vise. “Just another ideia”. Or, you could use a C clamp too right? The c clamp from the maxcatch alloy vise is very strong. Anyways, thank you so much for answering me
@TwigNTimberFishingOutdoors3 жыл бұрын
Not TOO heavy but heavy enough. I swapped it for a desk clamp currently

What size hooks you can use. I'm looking for something to 6/0 hooks...
@TwigNTimberFishingOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure if this is the best vise for those bigger hooks. I'd look into a mongoose or knockoff mongoose for bigger hooks
