I've never used a dating app myself, and have no plans to do so. Nobody asked for my advice, but I'll give it anyway. If you're a westerner that's looking to meet a filipina, I think you shouldn't get impatient and use a dating site. Go there and meet someone....or go there and then use the apps. This way it's very hard to get scammed and you can immediately meet the girl and decide if she's for you. It seems pretty obvious you'll be able to find a filipina almost no matter what you look like, so don't get impatient....go to the Philippines. One more tip. Once you've met someone you like and start a relationship. Ask her to close all her dating sites. If she won't, she's obviously still looking. If she does, you're looking good. I'd do a little snooping on the site to make sure she did also. Who wants to waste their time with a liar?

How long did that take? I've mostly just found some very big scams, freelancers and 'poverty brides' (not love based). Perhaps, you're young and hot which would make for a more realistic relationship. I didn't find anything real. Peace.

Not sure who you're asking and what exactly you're saying. Did you go to the Philippines and have no luck Bob, or is your comment your experience on a dating site? If it's a dating site, your comment supports my original comment. If you actually went to the Philippines and had that kinda luck, I think we need more info on you to figure out why.

Agreed. Dating apps suck here with obese women saying they are average. Or have 10 year old pictures. One thing is it's impossible to date western woman on line. They are full of demands at 65! They all screw the same 1% of great looking guys. I know. I have a friend who gets anyone he wants. Even married last weekend. Yes. He has Hollywood looks and works out. It's amazing. If you watch the Filipina Pea, she kind of lets the cat out of the bag on Filipina women. I just asked one to drop her account and I would too, also asked some hard questions and its been crickets. She may still answer, but we will see here shortly. I would also hire a Philippine private investigator through an attorney or a solid citizen. Its worth 40 bucks to find out someone was lying instead of getting your heart broke.

I'm pretty good at sniffing out a liar myself....in all walks of life. I live by the saying that actions speak louder than words. I think it would be much harder to tell if someone is lying from across a couple continents though. That's why I say go there first. I suppose if you're really concerned, hiring someone to check your new gf out would be a good idea. I just couldn't see myself doing it. Too much foolish pride. 🤣

I met my Cebuana wife on Filipino Cupid, although I never actually paid for the service. At that time, standard users could send msgs containing only 7 letters or something like that, kind of a tease to make you pay. But I managed to get her Skype, she sent it over a series of 5 or 6 msgs, and we started chatting there lol. Next month we'll have our 3 year anniversary. Two comments: 1) On Christian Filipina, you get tons of emails for prayer sessions and the like. Also, you tend to get a lot less information than on other sites. 2) The notion that you can just fly into Manila or Cebu and walk the malls and get the best women in the Philippines is rather silly. Most of the successful Filipinas that I have worked with over the years are working six days a week and spending Sundays with their families. Dating sites are a good way of meeting people with your same values and goals.

I have an account with Christian Filipina but I have found a few cons. The premium membership is the highest of all the dating sites. Many of the women have kids. Many of the women were married or separated (same thing to me). Many had financial burdens like supporting relatives, putting brothers and sisters through school and so on. I made my account dormant because of these things. As for Filipina Cupid, I had over 10 scammers contact me. As soon as the sad stories started, I reported them. They tried every sad tale in the book but I did not fall for any of those fish stories.

I met my fiancé on Filipino Cupid. I’ve heard good things about Christian Filipina. I think both are good. People who can’t spot red flags should not be dating online. Red flag number 1- constant excuses not to video chat. Red flag 2- asks for money. Red flag 3- doesn’t respond to text right away. You should know when someone is really into you, it’s obvious. Just be respectful, don’t start pushing for sexual things, be clean cut and have a job. Filipinas usually don’t like beards. Women from the Philippines love lots of attention and are very loving and affectionate. That’s it in a nutshell.

I was approached by my Filipina 5yrs ago today on Facebook and I was talking to 7 women at that time and they all lived here in America. My girlfriend just won me over after we talked for several days I stopped talking to all the women except her. i was a swede working at norway in 2019 at a job i wanted to leave. my friend in gothenburg called me and more or less pitched me a dating group on facebook. "its time for you to get a soulmate". i told him i wasnt quite ready for a relationship let alone a whole family but he insisted, so i joined the group and after weeks of consideration i decided to upload a dating post saying i was looking for that special someone. little did i know that the vast mayority of the members there were from the philippines. i tried to avoid filipinas at all costs as i wasnt eager to go to the other side of the globe, but there was one filipina who wrote such a cute message to me that i could not ignore it, so i started chatting with her (alot) and three days later she asked me if i wanted to marry her. i kindly told her that i am very interested in her but that it was too early for me to know if i wanted to marry her. (3 days - i mean come on!). we kept chatting, i resigned from work and used saving to travel to her the same year for a 20 day visit, and i planned multiple shorter trips, but then the pandemic hit. so since then i sent her money, not so much financial support, but rather as investment capital for her to generate her own passive income that we both can live on. i found work in latvia and worked there for over a year saving up money for wedding and what we needed down there. less than 3 years later, we now have a small house (5x7 m2), a pigfarm generating 200 dollars a month, we will be married in less than a month from now and I am 100 percent decided that i am going to move to the philippines and not look back to scandinavia for a looong while. by the way, the reason me and her can live on 200 dollars a month is because we dont pay any rent (since we own the house and land it stands on), and in abra the food is really cheap, plus we can grow some of the food ourselves. so despite us being a family of two adults and two kids from prev relationship, the total spending (inc internet and electricity) wouldnt exceed 150 dollars a month, so we practically save 25 percent of our profit to a reserve.

I've used dating sites and apps for many years on and off and scammers can be pretty easy to spot with experience. ALWAYS do an image search of profile pictures - often you'll find they're fake or photoshopped (some alterations are REALLY GOOD). Another massive red flag is them asking for money very early on (or even later in a number of cases). Try and find out what they do for a job and where they work then search that location, company, etc. If you can use google earth to get a look at the street view, ask them to send you some photos of their home, workplace, etc (preferably with them in it). There's plenty more tips and tricks I've picked up over the years though, but at the core, trust your gut. If it seems too good, it probably is.

I've personally have had good luck on Asian dating. I do have to say, the whole dating site thing can be stressful. A lot of broken hearts, and dreams on those sites. All I can say is if you do decide to join one, and you do find a woman, make absolutely sure you are ready for the long wait, and are financially secure enough, to make things happen. Make sure you are eligible to petition a woman for a visa. Look all that stuff up, evaluate your personal situation, and if everything checks out, may you, and yours have a wonderful life together. I use both Christian Filipina and PinaLove. Now ChristianFilipina is indeed recommended. I’m not a paid member yet but I think they called me 3 times already where we have been talking for at least half hour. I mean the owner or one of their team. First time when I opened my account and wanted to get to know me (as well sort of verification). Other times obviously to make me a paid member but not pushy at all. They really seemed more interested in helping/advising what to look out for. You mentioned the immigration service but what you may not know and is even more funny ….. If you are talking with a Filipina but you have doubts, you can contact the team and they will do anything they can to find out if she is genuine with her intentions. They could even call her, get some seemingly not noteworthy answers but can be verified with what she told the foreigner etc. They go pretty far with their research really. Then they will advise the foreigner after. Overall, they are expensive for foreigners but the money is put at the right place to keep the platform nice and clean.
