Do you get the dreaded light pollution issue at night with the blade chroma? I can't get a 100% clear night shot without bounce back from the front lights after sunset. Besides that it seems pretty good except it does not have light ridge so I don't trust it to fly out of site at all which can be limiting. The advanced phantom or above has light ridge which makes what you see on screen at the exact same time as its actually happening. No delay like the wifi connect on the chroma.

Much faster and yes you can run it manually. The DJI is on sale right now for around 499 so it is a lower price.

There is a used Chroma with no camera or gimbal for $360 AUD (about $300USD) wondering ig I should grab it and buy a gopro gimbal. Seems like the CHroma might be limited in features. Does it have the bility to use waypoints, cirlce shots or dronies? Sure looks like Asbury park in that UAV footage. ;-)

Yes Asbury Park. So here is the deal, at this point I would probably lean towards the Phantom just because they have a much larger community. If it's your first drone and you are on a budget get a dji P3 standard - it's a great deal and a good solid drone.

One thing we should all know by now... DJI always wins. I liked the phantom video more in this video then the blade chroma. I have a bunch of phantom footage on my channel (non colour graded or anything, completely raw) and I think it looks pretty dam good. Only thing to change is horizontal horizons which I haven't done on my videos but can be easily accomplished in editing.

Oh yeah for sure. That's what pushes companies to keep improving. But I don't think it was/is this that did it. So yeah my first statement was kinda wrong. I just meant up untill now and overall so far. My opinion, but I think most would agree that DJI is at the top right now. If that makes sense. Edit: Btw, I love how much you interact with your community and I loved your phantom 4 with 3 props video. Well done with all of that :)

Thanks James. I absolutely understand your comments about DJI. At the time I made this video, they were not the leaders like they are today. Credit to them for making such a great drone. Thanks for your feedback on the P4 with 3 blades I took a beating for that video - I don't think people understood the purpose. Also, I watched a few of your drone videos - Sydney Harbor bridge - very nice. I was born in Melbourne AU.
