Best electric bike for city and travel use? Engwe T14 foldable ebike!

Here is my review of the Engwe T14 foldable electric bike. This folding ebike is ideal for use as a city bike or taking away with you on holiday. The Engwe foldable ebike packs down quite small, and it's not too heavy so can be lifted onto trains or the boot of your car.
The Engwe electric bike has a top speed of 25kmph making it more manageable and perfect for a first ebike. The suspension and comfy seat make for a really comfortable ride. The cable disc brakes were really well too.
I must say, it's more suited to shorter riders. I'm 172cm and I wouldn't want to be much taller. However, we have been using it as a family and we've loved using it.

Hi , what’s it like going up hills? I know a lot of other small electric bikes suffer in this area. Also if it had off road tyres how to you think it would perform ? Thanks Ian

This is at the slower end of the ebike scale. If you're a heavy person, it's likely to struggle a bit.

Is it street legal in the uk with no requirement to pedal in order to engage the motor?

Not sure, but it meets the 250w / 15.5mph requirements.

I’m wouldn’t submerge it, but it should be fine in the rain. They recommend using a proofer, I guess like PTFE spray.

I don't think so, it may be too small for that.
