I thought the Nissan Leaf 62 kw should have made it to the shortlist as well despite a fairly modest range it can do on a single charge but still its up there for reliability and one of the cheapest family EVs for those on a tight budget. Another barrier too about why people are reluctant to change to EV is the short battery life it has compared to a conventional petrol or Diesel engine.

Or felt you couldn’t live with the extreme minimalist interior of the Tesla. It’s great the new highland version has heated seat controls for the rear passengers in reach of the rear passengers but I just can’t get over the gear shift being in the screen, no glove box button and the removal of the stalks! All of which will likely come to the face lifted Model Y. I have a GV60 and love it for its luxuriousness, plethora of buttons and knobs and its slightly shorter length 4.515m which facilitates UK city parking. When recently asked by a friend which EV they should buy I replied if they don’t mind the minimalist interior of the Tesla ( Y or 3), don’t mind its ubiquitousness ( they are just so many on the road) and if you need the extra boot space offered by something 4.75m long (23.5cm extra length over the GV60 ) the Tesla is compelling - fully equipped as standard when other brands require optional packages for advance driver assist tech. I do rate the Korean EGMP vehicles very highly for tech, practicality and ergonomics. The Tesla Y at £45K is simply incredible value in this sector cf to £63K for the equivalent GV60 but then you do get a very luxurious vehicle and some prestige in being a rarity.

I think Tesla cars are very impressive but I happily wouldn’t buy one due to Musk. 🇺🇦

All the Electric cars are far too expensive and depreciation is massive. Electric Motor car insurance is also far too expensive.

So, how many EV's have you purchased, and how many have you attempted to get insurance quotes for?

The ioniq 6 is far better than many on this list. The tesla is so bland and clinical.

Still gonna choose Ford Mustang Mach e over all the other cars 🤣. I have been trying all of em. And no one drives quite like the Mach e. So if i was going to Pick one then i would Pick the one you sugest people to avoid
