I have the Climber by I'nmotion. The torque never ends. It can hop off trails and climb up berms on grass no problem. I'm close to 200 and carry a backpack another 10 lbs at times. Tops out at 23 mph on full charge and range on my flat city commute about 25 miles. 4 to 6 hours full charge standard current. Stability of dual motors and the smooth acceleration/deceleration curve is the real story. I'nmotion is the leading maker of electric unicycles and has exceptional throttle response algorithm models. The throttle response on the Climber combined with the torque of the motors fore and aft make it the best daily rider I've experienced.

I've seen the Hover Journey Max as low as $394 in the past but it typically floats around $495. This seems like a great mailbox runner the money but when $699 gets you into a scooter like the Climber, that's hard to ignore. Tom's Gadget Garage did a fantastic review of the Climber and it out accelerated the Apollo Go and the KQI 300X to 20mph, while still having far superior hill climbing and coming in at substantially less money. Sure, you give up suspension and a few tech things but the Climber is impressive. I can see why you like it!

Do you know where I can get solid tires for the inmotion climber?
@etric4947Күн бұрын
Cool test. Just put PMT tires on the XTR like the Roadster and do the test again. Thanks for that.

Another great review by the channel.Very interesting comparison.My scoot was not mentioned but I love my RR RS5 max which I have had for 3+ months and I love it.I would say for the money,the Mars Teewing XTR is one hell of a buy.The Roadster is sweet but 5700 bucks is steep but still a nice ass build.This industry has come a long way.

IMO, the 'winner', and just my pov, is the Nami Burn-E2 Max. It weighs like 30lbs less. That's not the test you did here, I know, but 105lbs is something you can fold up & lift into a car trunk without folding yourself. It's still a 'scooter'. If all a manufacturer has to do is add more batteries to their array & keep making the footrest bigger, it's not gonna be a tough thing to beat. There's always gonna be 'more'. I'd love to try them, I respect how fast these things are, but there's not much in the way of innovation there. I want to see wireless charging mats, connectors that work on EV charging pods, better lighting, small performance fairings so the rider isn't an open sail, & has a chance to keep their pants dry in the rain, etc. I love how the Wolf King GT has swappable wheels & removeable battery packs - that's innovation. I want to see dedicated regen braking to be the primary braking solution (sharper, more instant resistance with ABS), batteries & systems that meet or exceed EV battery tolerance tests - even creating a new standard of battery safety so landlords don't have legal cause to ban them. I'd like to see better seating options for those who need them. How about built-in dashcams? How about rear cameras with anti-shake software that transmit the road behind you to the LED so you don't have to pretend rearview mirrors work. How about configurable cockpits, like deciding what you want to show up on the LED, like speed, angle of ascent, which drive mode, etc - but configurable ("making delivery - be right back - scooter alarmed & has tracking device"), configurable in icon/font size (like, if you leave a signal light on, it gets larger & brighter on the LED until you turn it off. A proper lighting solution- and something with stank on it - 3000 lumens +. Better software, so people aren't out there messing with "P-Codes" like cavemen. More control over front/rear wheel power distribution & braking (don't allow front wheel to lock up in a hard braking scenario, but allow the rear to lock up, etc). What I'd like to see most, is people on these rockets slowing down when passing pedestrians/bicyclists so they don't get us all pinched. No one in this video did that, just seeing a lot of it online, especially with performance scooters.

awesome to see all these scooters put to the test. was genuinely surprised by the journey max performance and seeing the emove roadster beat the XTR in the long run.. 👀 nice video guys as always

Kudos to Mitchell and the ESG boys! I honestly thought it was very astute of the team, not to give the title to the Segway ZT3 Pro with it's boost mode activated. I really see this as a gimmick and something that can rarely be used in practice. I'd hate to see a trend in this direction from scooter companies, where they offer a feature that you have to come to a complete stop to activate and is then only active for 20-30 seconds. If that was included in the official ESG stats, then every scooter company would be obligated to give a 20 second boost mode, for the sake of topping ESG's accel and climb charts. You guys did the right thing! Keep up the great work.

Wow! Nice job guys! That was really cool! Regarding the MK-GT and Klima, I can definitely say the the Klima has a good bit more torque, acceleration and hill climbing. I had about 900mi on Kaabo and about 400mi on Klima and the MK-GT falls behind even with a 20lb lighter rider. Still, both are fun... just different. It's great to see the Pegasus in there! That was my first dual motor scooter! :D

Where would the GT2 stand? Great channel!
@ESG-ElectricScooterGuideАй бұрын
The GT2 is the 8th fastest hill climber on our 10% grade test hill. It's only 1/10th of a second behind the tied RX7 and the Inmotion RS. It was featured in the original outline for this video which was focused on only the scooters above $2k, but didn't make it into the final version which ended up covering all price ranges. -Paul
@NunchucksHabitАй бұрын
Big thing keeping the GT2 from topping many lists is its IP54 rating. Splash proof only, can't handle the driving rain. Not priority for most, but that's what kept me from considering it as my next scooter.

@ 6:30 is Paul going to test the Klima in the hill climb? would love to see that vid :)
@Patriot36Ай бұрын
My brother is 165lbs, (same weight as Paul) and rode the Klima for the first time, about 45mi, this past Sunday. I couldn't believe how fast he launched out of the hole and up hills on the Klima. The normally quite quick RS5 Max was left in the dust as well as the Mantis King GT. The Roadrunner would finally catch and pass the Klima but that wasn't until we were approaching the 300 yard mark. For all practical speed bursts, the Klima dominated the 90lb class in our group. A fun day on three sporty rides!

You should add an on-road with offroad slalom/obstacle course that stresses all performance (accelerating, braking, hill climbing, handling, etc.) and ergonomic characteristics for a best all-around scooter.

Love this subject living on a hill',best show on this,but their are many,many channel's that have done individual reviews(of some of these)on long distance hill climbing,on local Hill's,messa's and mountains across America ,which is epic.what people want to know is the best battery update ,last year,this year and next year,and how much brand new eastern tech cost's.look forward to your show's,thanks

Have they ever reviewed any Kukirin scooter? I couldn't find any video that had one. I'm new in this subject so I've been hearing the company recently went through a rebrand and some of their scooters are repurposed. I just got a G2 Master so I'll let you know how that goes, but at least it didn't die after the first full charge like it seems to happen to a few people.
