My friend from Australia and she teach me how to do it, but she used honey instead of golden syrup because we don’t have it in that time.. your recipe almost same.. thank you 🙏🏼

What’s golden syrup? Honey?these look 👍 good
@LeBonBaker3 жыл бұрын
Hi Barbara 🙂 thank you! Golden syrup in Australia is a thick, amber coloured form of partially inverted sugar syrup. It’s like a cross between honey and maple syrup! Depending on where you live, some substitutes are honey, cane syrup and brown rice syrup ☺️ hope that helps! X PS hope you can make the biccies, they are delish 😋

Hi, Can I skip the coconut for this recipe?
@LeBonBaker4 жыл бұрын
Hi Agnes! Yes you can. You could substitute that quantity for your favourite ground nuts, dried fruits or just top up with a bit more of the oats 😊

@LeBonBaker Жыл бұрын
I did make these particularly large haha but you can definitely get more out of the batch if you're happy to have them smaller in size 😊

Lovey Job Mmmm🤗yummy 😋 Just one point sweetie.. ❤ ANAC Biscuits aren’t allowed to be sold as cookies.. It’s actually a law here in Australia 🇦🇺.

when you said "australia and new zealand army corpse" at first i thought it was a cute mistake. then i realized how it was sadly too true.

Why are you using American language when making our Australian national biscuit. We use plain flour not all purpose flour and we do not bake cookies we bake biscuits.
@LeBonBaker2 жыл бұрын
My training as a baker was in Canada so I guess I have a hybrid style as I use terminology from my time living there... it was engrained in me! It's also why I say parchment paper instead of baking paper! Potito, potato...
