Thank you! Yes! In my limited research about sugar in baking, it seems that because it melts, it's considered liquid. I mean, as soon as you add it to liquid, it just turns to more liquid, so it makes sense.

I’ve never heard of cereal milk in my life! Maybe I just don’t go to the dairy section or maybe we don’t have that where I live. I’d love to get an almond cow though 💚

Any luck heating this oat milk for hot drinks? I'd love to switch to making my own but can't find an easy method that doesn't produce a slimy texture when warmed.

I don't recommend it. The starch is what makes the "milk", but it also thickens into gravy when it's simmered or boiled. My advice would be to just heat it gently, and not let it get to a simmer. It'll work work, just not boiling hot.
