Nice guide wish I would’ve seen this before I beat him it would’ve saved me a headache.. I ended up saving all my abilities for the 2nd phase and I also used the lightning transformation guy as it seemed to stun him out of attacks and inflicted lightning damage to him…

I used this in NG++ and it works. The damage in NG++ is huge. This guide helped me get the first 50% damage done to the red boy. The fireproof mantle helped a lot when I missed some of the diving dudes.

Yeah this fight was like fighting the skeleton chicken boss, the first phase(s) is always easier than the 2nd round of the boss fight. In these types of fights, you can just run around and charge Heavy Attack (it seems you run faster when you charge heavy + sprint this way). Its just a matter of getting used to dodging his 2nd phase attacks before he turns into Yaksha form. I'll have to pour my Sparks into transformation, having transformation take hits for me instead is def useful while dealing some damage. That trick with the Mantle for his annoying flame attack and bombarding clones will def help me with minimize damage received. The spirit I used was the one that speeds up Focus Charging, maybe I got spoiled by using that one in the majority of this Chapter.

I found a cheese for this bosses first phase!!! You have to use the thrust stance, and spam the heavy attack. Important to not have any focus build up when u start. The first blow will automatically put you in the perfect range, where she will just keep walking around you while you hit her. If you stop spamming she will immediately start attacking again. Only works in the first phase as far as I know.

on 4th play through the mantle helps only a tiny bit lol. it's got great tracking on u and you get hit by 2 at once.a third is death... shadow cloud, mantle, and run and heal though lol good luck

This was a really fun and engaging fight. I found it very easy though, perhaps the Loong weapon is just scaled to be very powerful if you have it around the time you fight this boss.

Idk why but u can stun lock him after his phase transition with the staff spin lmao its hilarious, was using perma stun build and even tho the bat doesnt freeze him the staff spin alone melts his hp just dodge before ur our of stamina then cloud step till its full again

Just to be clear friend. When you show your Sparks placement there is nothing in the Smash or any stance. Are you not putting points in these at all or am I missing something. Is it obvious that you put points in Smash stance and you’re not showing that?

There is a trick If you have PlayStation plus, you can cloud save So in your settings, turn off “ auto upload save to cloud” And then manually save once into the cloud There you go. Now you can start a new game, and if you ever want your old file back, just go into your cloud save and overwrite the console save

I mean except for the attack were he goes up in the sky the boss is very easy I just have a problem that when I defeat him my game just freezes there is no cut scene nothing I don’t know what to do I have fought him more than 7 times already and still after beating him the game freezes completely and I can’t do anything then if I leave and rejoin I have to fight him again
