my hands has a shape that it's hard finding gloves that fits. i have overall thin hand, pianist thin long fingers the distance from the base in between index and the heart finger to the tip of heart finger is 10 centimeters. and the palm reaches almost 25 centimeters. every glove in the market feels like duck palmate. for now i have a pepper spray.

Good advice, dress tactically for your environment is what the “Boss” of our Ninjutsu club says. Never ever thought of slash resisting gloves.

Fantastic advice, I also recommend members of my family carry a bright flashlight. If something gets dodgy, a bright light can be a fantastic defense and can be carried anywhere.
