The 200w PS sold me. I stuffed a used GIGABYTE B550I AORUS PRO AX with the Amazon $131.56 5600g with stock cooler. Lol, glad i'm late to the party for the drivers updates for the 550 chipset and the 5600G give away prices. I do occasional video encoding so do see 84C when the single fan case is pushed hard, no problem. Kill a Watt reports 96 watts during encodes and 25 watts surfing on 115V mains. Thanks for review Mike.

Hi, Mike. Interesting case you have there. I think what it needs is an external water-cooling system twice as big as the case. Then you'd really have something. LOL

As an owner of the OG Chopin, this psu upgrade is a welcome 🙏 upgrade, especially w/ Ryzen 5000APUs & I used to use the colour panels on mine for a change of appearance on the new season 👍🥰🥳 which was a nice touch and cheap to implement ☺️. Great review Mike 🥰👍 as always! Cheers 🍻

Really like this case, built my dad a pc with B550 mini-ITX and a 5600g CPU. My only problem with it is that the front USB header cable is about 2-3x too long and was very annoying to tuck in alongside the 12pin mobo power.

This case is at the top of my list when I build a new system for myself and one for my wife. Just waiting on more info on the new Ryzen 7000 offering and Mini-ITX options to see if it's worth an upgrade or stick with the 5700G or 5600G on a B550 M/B. DDR5 is still a bit pricey at the moment.

Hi Mike. I gave my Asrock Desk Mini as a gift to my son and decided to build a new mini PC where the CPU is AMD Ryzen 5 5600G and the case would be the new Inwin Chopin Max. My question is regarding the motherboard. I like the Asrock motherboard but open for other brands. The new PC is for basic home use with some photo and video editing, no gaming at all. According to this which motherboard that gives best value for the would you recommend? Thanks in advance for your reply!)

Hi Mike, nice review ! but there is something I have to mention about the inwin chopin, if you using a motherboard and the m.2 ssd is on the "backside", your m.2 ssd has a chance to "crush" while you fixed the 2.5 ssd due to inwin chopin ' 2.5 ssd screw holes might right in front of M.2.( just in video 7:41 ) that is how inwin chopin kill my m.2. (my motherboard: Biostar X470NH itx) The official inwin told me "inwin chopin has published for 5 years, in that time there were not much M.2, so they feel sorry about it" ( but they still selling it ?!) I have no idea whether they fix this problem in the pro version or not. so my own opinion is to take care when you use it or NOT buy it ! if you interested in this problem I can simply send you the crack picture about my m.2 in this case.

I just got this case, looking at adding more external IO as I hate using dongles, just noticed from this video that it looks like there's space for two additional usb, hdmi and either vga or dvi? haven't received my case yet but just not sure what size the port is just above the PSU. since it doesn't have usb C I was going to use the internal usb c to get all the extra IO. also with the 2.5" bays removable, wondering if there's space for a riser cable to put a low end gpu in it - not using it for gaming as i've got my rx6900xt ryzen build for that, doesn't look like i'll have space for many cables but I can get lots of crazy shenanigans on aliExpress.
@mikesunboxing2 жыл бұрын
the 2.5" bay is very shallow but remove the cages and you should be able to squeeze something useful in there
@r4z0r842 жыл бұрын
@@mikesunboxing yeah about 15.5mm according to stuff I found online, should hopefully be able to get a dongle in the back for some more IO. Would still be using a dongle but having it built in with cables going to the case makes me feel less like a Mac user haha

note, I have the Chopin Pro, and the stock cooler of AMD Ryzen 5700G fits in but you have to remove the plastic frame around the cooler. I have this case and Ryzen 5700G init with its stock cooler -- the unit stays very cool and is silent. My usage scenario: video editing, development, AI, and machine learning. Here is mine running: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oarFpX5pl8qKapY I was looking at Ghost and Dan case as well as Velcase, but this one beats them all when considering price, size and weight. 200W is well enough for my CPU.

If say using an older apu could you still play games like Apex legends or Fortnite? Thinking when my wifes watching main tv cannot use my pc so this would be fab in bedroom where space limited!
