At 10:30 it is actually a thin sliced banana that dried under the sun for couple of days, mostly around 2 or 3 days and then coated with flour and deep fried it. It's called Pisang Sale.

next time you visit Ubud, you should try Putu's Wild Ginger, it's small warung in her house near Ubud Market. Her speciality is Bebek Betutu (Balinese smoke duck), but you need to make reservation 2 days ahead and remember to ask Ibu Putu to cook her special sambal (balinese chili with shrimp paste). And Bebek Betutu Pak Mangku, his speciality is also Bebek Betutu, and need to make reservation 2 days ahead.

I've had that nasi campur Ibu Mangku in Ubud and also at Ibu Mangku in Denpasar. Warung Ibu Mangku and also Warung Ibu Oki in Nusa Dua are always on my list each time I visit Bali. Good choice guys 👍👍👍

That’s Banana is sale pisang, sun dried thinly sliced banana (in some method they sprinkle sugar on this process to preserved the banana) then coated in flour batter and deep fried. You can taste slightly fermented that almost like caramel

Yess, that find of the century is rolled deep fried sundried banana. Sundried banana itself in Indonesian often called pisang sale (read sah:leh), The crispy chicken inside is deep fried chiken intestine/usus ayam. Ayam is chiken, usus is intestines The rolled pancake called dadar gulung. Traditional dadar gulung is rolled green pancake (the green from pandan and/suji leaves) filled with shredded coconut and palm sugar/gula merah/gula melaka

heya Wesley! glad you liked this video so much! we have another video on Nasi Ayam Betutu and our favourite is in Jimbaran - Nasi Ayam Bu Oki, but we just found out that actually Bu Oki has a branch in Nusa Dua! so you can check that out also, aside from Pak Dobiel's. But i think it's true that Nusa Dua isn't brimming w street food. If u enjoy that u must go to Denpasar and poke around everywhere!

If you happen to be in Denpasar and want to try authentic Sundanese (West Java) cuisine, you can try to make vlog about Warung Nasi Ampera restaurant at Jl. Teuku Umar No.41. It's my favorite, and it has a unique steps of serving and processing. First you need to pick the food you want, pay it in the cashier and then the staff will heat that for you. You can also take unlimited supply of vegetables and sambals (three types of it if you can handle it). Another plus is it always has live accoustic music performance.
