I understand that this may seem kinda pathetic, but listening to these old conversations have saved my life dozens and dozens of times, up until this very minute. I'm in that strange place where I just wanna get off this ride that's called life, but too much of a coward to actually go through with it. I laugh so much at these guys, especially Karl. It really makes me happy enough to just go to sleep and take tomorrow the best I can.

Don’t get off the ride until you don’t have a choice. I felt like that until I started working out & I can say with confidence that working out really does help you feel physically better but emotionally too. Start by going for a walk for 30 minutes every day and build from there.

the point of The Metamorphosis is that you're never actually sure that the main character transforms physically, and it can be argued that it was a psychological change.
