Gui won the event, but Moto stole the show. Everyone was sticking their tricks. One of the greatest best trick comps ever

It’s easier at that age though, if they’ve had the training you gotta remember that their bodies are built for that, and the older they get the harder it will be for them. It’s like how a young teenager did a quintuple cork 2160 in snowboarding but now that he’s older he’s struggling to still do an 1800. As the body grows, it gets harder to pull off the spins

7:20 one of the most amazing things I have ever seen done on a skateboard even though he bailed at the end. His body does 360° while the skateboard does a 900° - that is absolute insanity to pull off. I remember seeing Shibata last year or the year before keep trying his trick over and over and on the last attempt he pulled it off and got gold. He has to be my favourite at best trick vert of all these guys, but I'm always rooting for the youngest ones to win, or if not Gui Khury just because he's still so young now but has been skating pro for around 4 or 5 years even at 15. It's amazing how advanced these kids are that a 9 year old is skating at the highest level.

Dude. I was part of the BMX, skateboarding scene from about 2000-2007. Back in those days X games shut down the hosting city because how crazy popular it was, with masses showing up in trailers and campers. Looks like these days the whole event can be hosted from a Walmart parking lot.

Ever since Gui acted like a sore loser at one of the last vert events and seemed all unhappy about the winner and had a little spoiled kid ugly moment didn’t congratulate the winner and just walked away…. I’m like super not here for him and not excited for his wins. Yes he’s little and maturing, but that’s a lame excuse in a professional sport. Not once did I see Nyjah or any of the young young skaters behave like that. You can tell his parents didn’t teach him how to be humble.

tony hawk won with the 900 and he did it after the contest. so why didn't moto win with this incredible NBD? he got robbed. you guys should be ashamed. khurry already did the body varial 9 at tony hawk's vert alert. IN A RUN. this decision is stupid as heck.
