Rather sad to see it vandalized. Had this been in Japan it would of looked the same now as the day it was built.
@joenandamalie6 жыл бұрын
I mean, I wouldn't say it's vandalized when you think about the fact that the building has stood still for almost 30 years. Sure there is some graffiti, but other than that, it's mainly just time that has been the vandalizer, in my opinion.

Hey Artur! I guess you're right, but since no one is living the ocean I wouldn't call Portugal the biggest country in Europe, but the two time zones is true. That lagoon has an interesting legend attached to it, and also the name is quite interesting. The legend goes something like this. In a kingdom known as the Sete Cidades (7 cities) kingdom (this legendary kingdom is said that existed in the middle of the Atlantic ocean, and was also known as the island of the Seven Tribes - link in bottom). A princess tired of being captive in her castle ran away. During the process she knew a sheppard that helped her, and showed how magical was the countryside. They fell in love. However the king forbade this love as she was bound to be married to a prince. The king, as was kind of heart, let both of them meet for a last goodbye. Both acknowledging they wouldn't stay together met, but as they separated for a last time they weeped of broken heart. The tears that each of them weep started to form their own lagoon. And thus how the two lagoons were formed. A blue lagoon as the eyes of the princess were blue and a green lagoon as the eyes of the sheppard were green. And thus even though they were separated, both of them live near each other as their lagoons. Continue bringing such awesome footage of cool places. My 2 cents Saludos en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antillia

Actually the Hotel was bought by a company in 2017 and will open its doors on 2021 they say!

Yep, but 2021 sounds extremely optimistic. Especially since they are still dealing with legal stuff in terms of government approval etc. Our airbnb host who lived in Sete Cidades sounded like this hotel wouldn't be done in the foreseeable future. And if you are familiar with Portugal, you'd think he wasn't way off.
