Been driving a truck for 30 years now. I'm fascinated by the various tractors they drove back in the old days. Especially the ones with two steering axles and what I guess is a sleeper on top of the cab. Plus some of the cab over with a short hood. Anyway love the photos of the old trucks. Considering they didn't have power steering and the other things that we drivers of today take for granted that they didn't have back in the day. Love your videos and please keep up the good work especially the color version of the photos.

as a kid in the 60s , i'd stick my head out the window of our car to smell that great smell of diesel when a truck passed us . sometimes you could still smell it after the truck was out of sight . i remember a building on the corner , that the side was always blackened near the roof , from diesels taking off from the traffic light .

6:47 that werner truck is shaped like an old model T ford.. i just looked closer, its a 1936 mack. it looks sharp and I always wondered when carhaulers started using dedicated carhaul semis.. it looks like the piggyback setup at 7:14 was from the 30s and that 6 decker at 4:22 looks like it's from the late 50s or early 60s. Thanks for the upload, it's really interesting😎
