We bought a '72 Red 1.7 right hand drive conversion in 1997 for $10,000. It was a beauty that wasn't appreciated in Australia, as there were so few on the road.

We had an AMX years ago and someone from Australia flew to LA to buy and then shipped it back to Oz. They didn't convert it though.

Consider a Mustang C/S(not factory) or a Shelby prepped Mustang. Examples of non-factory mods still “as sold” and not discounted by collectors.

4 cylinder, not a six. No 6 cylinder with a central air cleaner. Had 2 ,73 1.7, 74 1.8 Always wanted to do a one-off with a 928 engine in it' to keep it pure. No LS swap for me

I know it was always covered and garaged when not in use, and being in a mild So. Cal climate helps too.
