how many pads to paint correct a pick up truck? I haven't found a video that shows when a pad is too saturated to continue using it.

I'm new to buffing my car. I want a pad to use to apply wax (waffle, flat-foam, small dimple or microfiber bonnet). Then, I want to know if I can use a pad to remove the wax or do that by hand? Once all the wax is removed, do I then use a wool to dry polish the car?

Most videos I've seen, because I am new as well, they just use a microfiber towel to wipe off the area. If you are doing a 2-step, you still wipe off the excess wax or whatever with a microfiber towel. I watch DIY Detailer, and Adam's Polishing videos.

I used a buffer to apply the wax and used a microfiber towel to remove it.

Can I use the Lake County HDO pads on my Griot's G8 or G9?

Absolutely. When picking pads it's always good to try test spots on the vehicle you are polishing to determine the best results. But absolutely the LC pads will work on the Griots machines (assuming the pad size matches backing plate size)
