Had no idea that was Joe Sullivan in that video with the bar bending. Remember seeing it a while back and thought thank God he knew what to do. He handled that as well as you can really.

Joe Sullivan and the spirit of his gym seems to be the opposite of other gyms. This place seems like an easy place to support. Another gym also resisted lockdowns but it seems like Joe pursued reopening with class and respect for all stakeholders. This is more of what we need-- unity and respect, not an "it's us vs. fuck everyone else".

That's terrible! Is it a globo gym like planet fitness? I use to go to one but could only use it for cardio during work hours. They also didn't have any olympic barbells and no free weights over 50 pounds any compound movement had to be done on a smith machine. For me that side of the gym was completely useless and I'd lift at home. For anyone reading this was the NYC Wall St. PF Gym across from the famous NYC stock market bull so it wasn't a small wierd PF in the middle of nowhere.
