bit complicated, it is better to use ESP32 with WLED and use this WLED in Hyperion over the IP Even this one is budget friendly (ESP32 = RS. 500 to 600 and 2meter LED = RS 500 - 600 (enough for 32inch monitor), If ur using a small length LED, then a charger is enough 5V 2A)

This works by capturing what's running on TV using hdmi. Smart TV doesn't have hdmi out so you won't be able to capture those. You will need an HDMI input to make this work

You can, but i think then you'll have to duplicate your display port and hdmi output. Even i use Display port for Nvidia Gsync and was wondering the same thing. It's just that your outputs will increase from the laptop.
