Not sure if anyone else has experienced this, but I used the denoise features for Arnold in Maya and they weren't that impressive. The noice option doesn't work on my computer at all and the results for the other CPU option (the name slips my mind) are just okay at times. The GPU Optix is only one that seems to work properly. It's one of many reasons why I'm switching to Blender for Cycles.

spread themselves so thin across so many dcc, bought enscape, made a very limited UE clone, then fell far behind on core development. Their product is also so closely tied to Max and archvis, two things that are becoming increasingly unused and unneeded. And somehow it’s the most expensive engine, like 2x as RS and somehow more than Arnold. Vray is a sad story.

imo vray spread themselves way too thin, too many dcc, vantage, chaos cloud, enscape, asset library, etc etc and now it’s by far the most expensive and furthest behind engine.
