I love this channel! I thought in January when YT revamped their algorithm to help smaller channels I thought for sure yours would take off! 😔 A few other small channels i watch have boosted to like 500k subs since January because of them now promoting smaller channels. I think the problem is - ppl cant read the channel name, and immediately KNOW what kind of content they'll get. Ive noticed a few channels im subbed to that have names unrelated to their content also have a small sub count, and are having trouble boosting their audience. Because your content is very good. Research is great, you cover recent stories, and your filming and editing is impeccable!! Theres no reason this channel shouldn't have blown up!!😔 After I saw your last vid that kinda addressed the issue, and saw your reply to someone about how you had stopped renovation vids because ppl werent watching them - I won't lie, I always skipped over the cabin renovation vids (sorry). Im just a 38 year old single mom that loves the outdoors, loves hiking, and loves survival stories, and also loves to hear about missing ppl and the weird happenings around it. Im not really into renovating cabins lol. H×ll, Ill never even be able to own a vacation cabin which would be awesome so watching would only remind me of that and be depressing. But I watched every single other video on any other topic!! I also started recommending the channels if i end up commenting on another similar content channel - ill throw in at the end of my content that your channel is worth checking out if this is the content they are into! You do great work and put out great content so It breaks my heart at the thought of losing ya!! Maybe my promotion will make a difference! Sending love and prayers from West TN!❤🙏

Also, I appreciate your detailed thoughts and responses- on things like the cabin for example. Even though we were lucky enough to get the opportunity, I get can relate to those feelings, even as occupying it for the time being remains or of reach. I get that feeling with travel shows too. It's disheartening because I love to travel but it's not possible for me for many reasons- it's just discouraging.

I do plan on doing more field searches. Life is really happening right now so we'll see. Possibly towards the end of the summer. We'll see. Thank you for sharing your interest. I definitely take my viewers interests into into consideration.
