Another question that came to my mind, the first one you gave me your opinion on the other video - Are all HE keyboards (makers) with their magnetic switches have the feature of secondary activation (ex. press W to walk, press harder to Sprint) or it depends on if the switch has such support and respectively the software supplied by the keyboard maker? I have bought them for my Endgame Gear KB65HE and they abosultley do NOT work. I feel like the calibration with the magnets are totally off. With setting the right activation distance you get them to register but them you either get double triggers or endless triggers every time. Since the PCB is an OEM product I assume there will be similar issues the keyboards like the Highground ones.

These are great as well, full nylon housing but the bottom housing still has that hole in it. No rattle or spring noise on them though. I went with the Jades simply because I like long pole switches like the NK Cream and Invokeys Matcha Latte switches. I find them much more satisfying to type with.

As a Wooting owner with the jades, I HIGHLY recommend them to everyone. They are expensive but they sound so much better than the lekkars if you care about that.

Personally I wouldnt recommend them; there will definitely be releases from other companies that follow the same design as the gateron jades after this release. If anything, there are most definitely companies copying this design as we speak; and since the price of the gateron jades are so high, you can count on similar upcoming switches to come at a much better price than what gateron is scalping consumers for with this product.

@@sNiPeR95PwnZ It's actually really good. Tbf i would never go back to a mechanical keyboard again after using the Wooting. Lurching is so responsive with 0.1mm, and there is no way that i can achieve the same lurches with a mechanical keyboard due to 0.1mm actuation point for WASD. It's also perfect for supergliding in Apex (An inconsistent movement tech wich can only be consistent with either Wooting or Apex Pro).

It just gives you less options in fine tuning your keypresses, but, in practice, the .5mm are barely noticeable at all.

You are sleeping on the Raptor HE with Lekker stems. Only thing you’ll be sacrificing is RGB.

I have both but I find the raptor HE has too soft a bottom out for me even with the lekker stems. However the wobble is 1000% better on the franken-lekker switches.

That’s awesome! I have a question I hope you can help me. I am going to buy a wooting module and want to buy the Jades do you have to install them southfacing ? I saw in many videos that you have to rotate the switches from north to south or south to north I can’t remember sorry. But if you do have to rotate them did. it affect the rgb a lot? Also which case do you use? Also which keycaps would you recommend ? I didn’t understand yet why exactly the switched need to be rotated that normal keycaps can be used. @@TheMasterTMTheMaster1507Hey whats up. So the RGB on the Wooting Modules are oriented North. So the windows on the jades just need to face accordingly if you want the full effect. And trust me you do. The RGB’s on the board look really good ;) Also I got the Alumaze case from Wooting and then I build the same build for my gf but in the Tofu 60 Redux I might have to get the Tofu 60 cuz it just sounds that much better. The acoustics are so much better…

So if im reading you correctly...if you're buying a new wooting module and jade switches all you need to do is make sure the windows on the jade switches are facing the same direction according to where the LEDs are on the module. LEDs are also oriented North on the 80HE

How about we don't invite more big, established companies to join the market? They had their chance. They were around for a long time before Wooting, and they didn't do anything even remotely close to what Wooting has done. As far as the Lekker switches go, the stem wobble is barely noticeable, and only if you know exactly what you're feeling for. It's a nit-picky point to even bring up. Fully lubed Lekker switches sound and feel fantastic. If you're coming from literally any Razer keyboard, something from Corsair, Logitech, etc. you're going to be thrilled with Lekkers, and lubing them will put you on cloud 9. By all means though, run to the big names at the first opportunity. Go spend your money with the companies that couldn't be bothered to innovate until Wooting made something for them to steal. Wooting also has the first wrist rest that hasn't fallen apart (looking at you, Logitech) and/or looked like garbage (looking at you, Razer) after a year. Have you ever thought of joining the Wooting Discord and talking to them about what you would like to see them offer? They're a very small team, and they're very receptive to input from their community.

For the life of me, I do not understand why you compromise performance (Wooting is a performance keyboard before all), so I can not understand why you limit its performance by installing switches which may impair performance (talking about the travel distance limitations)

For most people the performance that they seek is low latency with access to rapid trigger. I don’t really know anyone who uses their stock lekers with an actuation 3.5mm or more, so you aren’t really losing performance. It’s just a sound and feel preference with the same performance.

If the wooting already outperforms anything else, what's a small limiting factor when in the end it's still better than a traditional keyboard? People value different things, I like shooters from time to time but I wouldn't even switch to a hall effect board when it limits my switch and layout choice. I don't think Brandon cares either: as long as it feels fast, it's good. This isn't a real pro scene after all where every millisecond could count. Edit: I actually replied before watching, that doesn't even make any difference to performance of the switches.

what's the difference between pvd weight and Aluminum weight? Whats the difference between e-coating vs. Anodized? Jris75 is e-coated. Mkc75 is Anodized. In orang3, i cant tell the difference. For example, the jris75, jris80, and maybe the jris65 have options for pvd weight and Aluminum weight. But the mkc75 only has Aluminum weight Please make a video on pvd vs. Aluminum, e-coating vs. Aluminum. It'd be cool to see a difference in color and material or even acrylic cases like SM keyboards or switch couture vs Aluminum keyboards. No one I've seen seems to be doing comparison on color finishes. That'd be cool to see
