Stock vs WS Dash switches in the Wooting 60he

Stock L60 switches vs WS Dash switches in my Wooting 60he both with Cerayey keycaps.

The WS Dash switches sound so much better and it isnt even close

It really isn’t. I was so surprised when I was done. I thought it would be a minimal difference but I was shocked because it is night and day how different it is.

I've heard people have issues with the stabs after changing to the WS Dash (from lekker), did you encounter this and have to switch them out?

I’ve heard people say that but I’ve also heard other people say it wasn’t an issue. I haven’t had any issues. It’s been perfectly fine.

@@HOLY_FRIJOLES thats good to hear! I just got an order of Dash switches in. Did you do anymore work to yours - or left as stock pre-lubed?

@@kthekid10 3 layer tape mod and I put the lekker 60g spring in a Dash switch for the spacebar. The ceramic spacebar is really heavy. I found the lube on the Dash switches adequate. I don’t think they would need to be redone. Hope you enjoy the Dash switches. They sound wonderful.

@@YoChrisWTF. no it’s all pretty straightforward. Don’t strip out your screws by over tightening, once you feel pressure they are tight enough. Do the painters tape mod while you have it apart. Get yourself a good switch removal tool your hands will thank you. Be careful separating and reattaching the plate and pcb. Enjoy your switches. You’re going to love them. Edit: the only reason my spacebar was an issue is because I have ceramic keycaps on there now and the spacebar is really heavy. If you’re using abs or pbt keycaps you have nothing to worry about.
