interesting video. Saw the rig picked up more than a few times without the twig going off. Anyway, I’ll be unsubscribing until you stop using that dangerous thing. There’s a reason it’s banned on most uk waters.

@@lexvandewal8856 Yep, totally pointless bit of tackle, made to catch unknowing anglers. Most tackle is to be fair but this is a risk to the fish which is unacceptable.

Love it or hate it, the Magic Twig' works. A superb video showing feeding habits. I totally understand camouflaging the twig BUT not possible in real time by the angler.

@@ianbaxter_uk for promoting a possible death rig, if you snap off in the lake and a carp picks this up it's dragging round a mini weed rake ready to catch on every snag branch going.

Great underwater footage, love to see it! Im very much against that magic twig for a load of reasons, reasons i can sit here and go on about but you know what who gives a shit? Where as anglers do we draw the line? At the end of the day we are pulling them out the water by the lips and poor things have to watch our ugly mugs while we hold them up for photos 😂 yes the twig is bad but there are also enough other bits of terminal tackle that are too, just take artificial baits.... So well done on the video very impressive footage that!

Ignore those knocking the innovation of the twig. If people want to unsubscribe because of their own prejudice let them. Like pretty much all of them they will never have used it. Those who have like you here know the reality that it is not injuring fish at all. More damage is caused to fish with ultra fine braid cutting the fish or using short hook links not set to release leads so that they can bang around the fishes eyes when playing the fish.. Every day fish get tethered by bad angling fishing too close to snags with clutches set too slack and using leads which don’t release, but no one mentions that. They just make false assumptions not backed by any reality. You are lucky you are free not only to use it but see what happens when fish are hooked and landed so you can judge the operation of it for yourself. I have been around the block in carp fishing from the beginning, see all the rig development, have heard it all. Hair rigging was frowned upon as unethical because the hook wasn’t picked up inside the bait, so it was foul hooking, and the bare hook was going to go in their eyes…now the hair rigging is standard practice of course. The biggest “unethical” leap was the use of self hooking bolt rigs, pretty much the majority method used today. If you didn’t strike to set the hook it was cheating. Also if you were not close to your rod it could be pulled in so it was considered a potential death rig too and banned on many waters, and still is on a number of lakes in the U.K. Absolute nonsense if the clutch and/ or baitrunner is set right of course. There will always be those against change. The twig is another tool that’s all. Maybe the purists should go back to fishing a plain pole with a bent pin😂 The quality of your video is amazing, as it is to see the reaction of the fish to the presentation of the rig. You know already how carpers love to see what really goes on, more of the same please!!❤

The twig looks dangerous to fish. That will snag badly on weeds and carry weed around
