another great report....everything looks so tasty... may say, the confidence in your blogging has advanced from your first blog...also your editing.....switching from garden flower back to restaurant....well done... we don't have any special noodles in the UK.....maybe someone should create a special British noodle...
@sara_khong4 жыл бұрын
Haha. Thanks for noticing! I was soooo nervous in my first video. And the second. Now its getting easier :) But editing is still very hard for me. I'm just doing what I can. I'm glad you like the switching part. I just really wanted to show the flower in its original form. Many of my students (and even Malaysian) don't know about it. Thought it'll be interesting! Maybe I'll try to do more switching up so it won't be so boring. Can you tell me the uninteresting parts that you will skip and why? Or any editing tips? Oh, no noodles in the UK. Yeah, now that you mentioned I only had pasta when holidaying in the UK. I'm surprised though. Noodles 'travelled' from China to Italy and became pasta. Considering the British colonised quite a few countries including Malaysia, I wonder why it didn't make way into your cuisine

A nice variety of selections to choose from. I'd have the Laksa minus the Pork and Shellfish. Gotta say I'm very fond of the Herbs and Spices Malysians use and also Chinese Uyghurs (from Trevour's channel) cos they remind me a lot of what us Jamaicans use. Things like Garlic, Ginger, Turmeric..plus their menus focus more on Rice and Chicken

Yes, we use a lot of spices here. Onion/shallots + garlic + chili, on top of other spices like lemongrass/turmeric/galangal/ginger make the base of a lot of our spice paste. Oh so yummmmmy! Googled Jamaican food and saw the herb list. I haven't heard of some interesting stuff like: Jamaican jerk spice, a blend of spices featuring allspice, locally known as pimento Pickapeppa sauce (usually made from small amounts of scotch bonnet pepper, and vinegar) Scotch bonnet pepper Would love to try one day!
