Great video. I always throw combos then back away to avoid damage, but this way I can still throw strikes while backing out. Great tutorial.

These are great drills, but how would they be implemented if the guy charging forward is attacking and not just moving forward with his guard up ?

Good question. Modify your zombie drill so your opponent is attacking with punches (a staple drill found on this channel) You’ll learn very quickly the distance and head position you need to counter while moving backward.

I think there would be times when too much heat is being thrown at you so in this case its better to angle off as soon as you can before being caught on ropes or in corner and you can check hook and counter on the flank, if this doesn't work just keep circling away to the left and right to confuse them.
