Owner makes a good hook but for fat profile plastics the Eagle Claw Lazer Sharp allows more head clearance. I use this Eagle Claw but change the screw lock to the Owner CPS as it's easier to feed the bait onto.

Great Podcast, gentlemen ! Wow, y'all really broke it all down; all the options of the styles/designs, sizes, weights, soft plastic performance options, and results, of weighted hooks, and the benefits and reasons for different choices on different conditions. Also, very good of y'all to bring on Justin; glad to have him aboard ! I know everyone is looking forward to picking his brain in the future, 'cause the man knows his stuff !

Malleable is definitely a word Luke, mainly applied to a metals work ability, but, I think it applies here.

Hey with y'all being out of Tampa you might be familiar with the Edje Hook back in my time living down there I purchased multiple sizes from 1/16 -1/4 oz in 3-4 colors. I always loved the profile of the weight which has worked great for inshore and bass fishing alike. Not to mention the secondary action I felt like it gave with a rocking action. Hard to find know-a-days maybe you guys could develop something similar?

Will the weedless weighted hook be practical for flukes and southern flounder?
@72rrwilson3 жыл бұрын
I’ve caught flounder and them, they work fine.

I have a question about the salt strong app? I’ve been a member for some time now. The app doesn’t seem to exist anymore. In the App Store. How can I visit the tide charts?
