Very funny stuff. Now, I would like to clear the air since my name was dragged into this video and people have been harassing me... I’m really glad that King K. Rool is in. I’ve wanted the dude to be in the game since Melee/Brawl, so it’s really something that has me happy. I was just as hyped up as some of you loyal K. Rool supporters were when he was revealed. Yes, I doubted at times, but in my defense... it had been two or three Smash titles in a row that he was denied. If you somehow were encouraged after freaking Corrin was announced, I salute you. At some point a normal human being’s confidence wanes and it takes them down a road where they try to find out the other side’s rationalization for keeping a character out of the game, and this post I made was one of those. So if we are going to just generalize my mantra based on that lone post, then hell yes I’m glad to have been proven wrong. But please just don’t try to pin me as someone who didn’t want him in the game because it’s not true.

HomicidalBluePikmin King K. Rool was my most wanted. But with that said, let’s just bring things up to speed: that was a post three years ago. Considering that would take it back to 2015, I would assume the post came around or after the ballot winners were revealed. From what I had known back then, this was the last Smash game being made. I was bummed out by K. Rool not getting in. I’m sure others were too. We all handle bad news of this nature in different manners. For me, after not seeing K. Rool get in for a third time fractured my hopes. Of course I still wanted him in, but I started to question if it actually would happen. When Smash Ultimate was announced, I was geeked up like how Jon Gruden got geeked up about Quarterbacks on Monday Night Football. I also had a renewed sense of hope that King K. Rool would get in. Did I have my doubts still? Yes, and I think that I was silly to doubt that King K. Rool would make it. Many people wanted him, not just me, so it was silly for me to have doubt creep in when everyone else was still hopeful. And as I said, if you are going to generalize me for that lone post, then I am sure as hell as glad to be the butt of the joke for you and I am glad for myself - who wanted him in since the Melee to Brawl transition - that my doubts were proven wrong. Thanks for bringing this up, I really think it’s eye-opening for me to see how my words come across from a different perspective.
