😁Good day from Goonellabah, NSW, Australia. I'll embark on a six-month journey to circumnavigate Australia in two CYBERTRUCKs and a Tesla Semi, covering 22,000 kilometres at the beginning of February 2025. Elon Musk will help me. I will raise a minimum of AU$1,800.000.00. Those who have helped me the people and companies: 1. Nurses and Doctors 2. Base Hospital and Ballina Rehabilitation Hospital 3. 👉NSW Ambulance Service - By the end of 2026, we will have Tesla Optimus robots on ambulances in Australia.👈 4. All my friends who are worse than me and people who have helped me. Lismore GSAC Baths. 5. Neuralink will help those who are worse off than me. 👉I shall take two Tesla Optimus robots.👈 We are getting 30 Tesla Optimus robots for Northern Coast NSW by 2026. I had a stroke on 4 July 2019. My wife, Kate, saved me. I am now swimming 120 lengths, 25m, at Goonellabah Pool, which has a total length of 3,000m, three times a week. I will swim in 25 m and 50 m pools when circumnavigating Australia. We shall have them for the disabled and elderly to help them in their homes or for anybody who will use them for any task they cannot do. They will be more intelligent than most people. 6. Promote of Tesla - Cybertruck, Starlink, Optimus 7. Promote the CYBERTRUCK to the State Government and Police forces of States. 8. Promote the Tesla Semi. We will use it for concerts and accommodation while circumnavigating Australia. The trailer of the Tesla Semi will be covered in PV, which will charge the batteries of the cyber trucks and Tesla Semi in places without chargers. 🤗Cheers, Ian Cleland

Pretty much every 800V EV revealed in China these days is way ahead of Tesla and they are even cheaper! Zeekr 7X, Onvo L60, the upcoming SUV variant of the Xiaomi SU7 (SU7 sedan is great but the SUV version will be even better so I would recommend to go for the SUV), upcoming station wagon version of the Zeekr 007 (same reason as what I wrote for the SU7). Lucid Motors is ahead of Tesla in technology, more efficient, better charging and better tech features. One could argue that even Rivian is ahead. And legacy car manufactuers are also increasingly ahead, Hyundai/KIA has 800V since 2021 for EVs which cost less than 50k. The electric Mercedes-Benz CLA will be available next and competes with the Model 3 LR models. The Mercedes CLA will have 800V, LIDAR and HUD, thing you won't find in any Tesla. And it will be more efficient than the Model 3 as well. Tesla relies on gullible and rather uneducated customers buying pretty basic EVs for quite a lot of money. They live off their brand awareness and it starts to fade which is why they need something new now, something like robotaxis, even tho there is plenty of others who work on robotaxis already
@markthomas7279Ай бұрын
@@AztasuWhat are the technical advantages that the Chinese have over Tesla?? How are their sales??
@AztasuАй бұрын
@@markthomas7279 - Better charging speed. The Zeekr 7X charges with its 800V architecture from 10-80% SoC in 10.5 minutes for instance. How long does the Model Y take? 25min? - Infotainment (way better digital integration, for instance social media and better streaming options etc.). - Quality-of-life tech functions like voice control with AI speech assistance, augmented reality HUD for navigation, vehicle-to-load (V2L), massage seats in the front, lounge chair function for the back seat on the right-hand side - Better driving assistance and autonomous driving. All chinese premium EVs have autonomous city driving capabilities similar to the latest version of FSD beta but often they do not require you to buy a multiple thousand dollar option pack to get those functions. Also the EVs have dozens of sensors, cameras, radar and LIDAR. So FSD-like funtionality is cheaper to get in chinese EVs and they also work more smoothly and safe.

@bearcubdaycareАй бұрын
It is seriously ugly, though. I say this as a Tesla owner and (decreasingly) stockholder. You have to see one on the road to realize how stunningly ugly they are, compared to any car or light truck in my lifetime. Wow, did they lean in on that. Videos don't do it justice. Even in the showroom you only get a little sense of it. I get that there's a hipster anti fashion vibe, but people may tire of it when the next thing comes along. Also, it's hard to become mass market if you loudly support the politician and party that boisterously hates EVs, and alienate the other half of the political spectrum. Musk made it clear, he's not interested in horse carriages anymore, only AI. So, without a dense network of 350kW-500kW chargers, even (especially) in rural areas, and ability to charge that fast, it's hard to see it taking over the pickup truck market. Even the city runabout market seems hard, if HOAs start forbidding it, or some parents fear children chopping fingers off. Even the meme that Tesla is an AI not EV company will put many people off from a purchase that might leave them with an unsupported dud, as the firm is visibly asset stripped to put big money in other interests. If Musk had stayed on the track of ever cheaper cars, Tesla would still be headed for 20 million vehicles a year, not exulting about modest increases in sales of a niche influencer vehicle, now that it's finally in production. Or if Tesla had designed a serious pickup, as others are (but that targets only a few countries). Or even a van. More likely timeline, Tesla reaches the end of the CT waiting list late in 2025, and sales stop tracking production ramp. Sales drift down. Lots start filling up with unsold. BYD pickups start gaining more attention, and plants open in Mexico, Turkey (0 import duty to EU), Bulgaria. BYD already builds vehicles in America. Tesla and other legacy makers take refuge at the top end, while overseas firms take the mass market. We've seen this movie before.

BYD BEVs look pretty good. But, watching them and other Chinese BEVs on Bjorn Nyland’s channel shows how inferior they are to Tesla especially their drivability. Also, the tech is still not comparable to Tesla. Many won’t care about these. I looked at the Euro NCAP ratings and it appears Tesla is head and shoulder above them as well. Buyer beware.
@BBingo-v5iАй бұрын
Bjorn Nyland never tests the best chinese EVs simply because they are often not yet available in Norway and because he does not have all the contacts needed to gain access to the latest and greatest models. The Zeekr 7X is way ahead in technology than anything Tesla has ever produced. And the Zeekr 7X is not even an expensive car which focuses on the highest quality possible but it sells for under $33k in China, cheaper than the Model Y. The Euro NCAP ratings of the latest chinese EVs are always a minimum of 4 or 5 stars for Chinese cars meant to be global models. The Xpeng G6 has 5 stars for instance.

Can't believe how many articles online casually talk down the Cybertruck, refering to 'design flaws' and such as if it's just a given that the truck is already recognised as a failure. This is sponsored FUD no doubt - some people with deep pockets do not like this truck.

Tesla wins again!! Second-hand Tesla's model 3 (2019) are breaking all records because the residual value will drop below €10,000 in the Netherlands at the end of this year. The competition has no answer to this yet......

I wouldn't say BYD hiring to 900K employees is good since most of the Chinese auto makers are not profitable already, hiring more head count just increases their expenses and not increasing their efficiency. They're controlled by the CCP which prioritize employment to decrease social unrest.

In Canada EVs are not doing so hot. Ice cars are still in high demand. EVs are overly expensive and unreliable in cold weather. The charging networks are a joke. Don't get me wrong , I would love one but costs make that unrealistic
@mallamal5578Ай бұрын
Teslas are not unreliable in cold weather. You lose a few miles in range just like an ice car. The total cost of ownership is much less than ice cars.

Unreliable in cold are just BS. Bad EVs are bad in all weather. My MY are more reliable than the fossil cars I have driven, heats up in a second, no snow clearing needed and you can use it at keep you warm while been stationary without inefficient idling. /sweed

Global warming is true but it is not catastrophic. My decision to buy an EV and home charger with solar panels and a home battery is based on economics. They save me money. Net zero should be delayed until 2070.

@@martinwoollett8468 I am not against reducing CO2 production. But not if it brings penury. Not if it brings deaths from hypothermia. If we had sufficient renewables - wind and solar predominantly I’d say go ahead close down gas and petrol and diesel. But we don’t…..and won’t have for another 20 years. So I say exploit Britain’s indigenous fossil fuels in preference to imports AND gradually reduce those as and when renewables come on stream. My children and their children will be fine…..but we will have to adapt to increased rainfall,increased droughts and rising temperatures.
