My NordicTrack 1750 is 2 years old and - the deck has cracked twice, the motor belt has snapped, and the front roller cracked. Each requiring warranty parts orders taking weeks and months away from my training. I've been able to use the treadmill 18 of the 24 months I have had it. Male - 185 pounds, running 5x per week at 7mph. BEWARE!

I’m having the same issue in deciding which one to go with because I keep reading tons of horrible reviews .. would you just go with one with the best warranty ? Or do ya have a suggestion with a decent overall ?
@T-jh7ox6 ай бұрын
@@xclsvsmke7123 I ended up buying a Spirit, no issues for the first 4 months and I completed the half marathon I was training for. I spent more to get a better warranty, thicker (1 inch) deck and better quality motor. I do recommend NOT getting a treadmill that folds - that results in a less sturdy deck support at the front of your treadmill. Also, make sure to apply belt lubricant every 3-4 months to keep deck temperature down.

My NordicTrack “Commercial 1750” had 1 belt worn, 2 motors and 1 motor controller so far for the last 3 years. I’m male 85kg. Sharing this with my wife, She’s like only 62kg. We run up to 10km per day combined and about 8-10km per hour speed. So it just start slowing down and today didn’t want to run (system starts but belt doesn’t start at all) . IDK maybe time for a new one. Servicing from Australian importer of NordicTrack has been excellent. I think it’s just a sub par quality product.

@@karvel13 I really like the Sole F85 and the Sole F89. They are powerful, and you can cast any content you want to the built-in screen. Another option is the Horizon 7.8 AT. Thanks for informative video, how would these treadmills compare to the commercial gym treadmills like a Life Fitness 95TI or Precor 954?
@BestTreadmillReviews10 ай бұрын
Commercial treadmills typically have AC motors and are designed to handle much higher levels of daily use. Some may have different electrical requirements, so you will want to check that. Commercial treadmills are a great option if it is within your budget and you are going to put a lot of miles on your treadmill daily.

Great video! Sorry for the extra long write, which this will be, but it's coming from someone who never looked into treadmills before and my take on them from what I'm seeing so far in my research. I never thought I'd be looking for a treadmill, but now I live in an area that you can't go half a mile without having to jog in place while you wait for the crosswalk light (unless I run back and forth, up and down my street,,, yawn). I am very surprised though at how non tech treadmills are in today's day and age. Being a tech geek of sorts, I would expect options for upgrade ability, such as changing out monitors, speakers, etc. Again, being an outside person that now lives in a very non friendly runner environment, I would love the scenic videos on a large ultra wide 4k minimum screen. Maybe with an option for fans that increase as you run up a virtual mountain, like in Rocky V, hahaha. Okay, that might be pushing it, but if this was the path I went down in life in designing them it wouldn't be. Also, none of these seem to have video out options for running to a TV, then the customization would be simple. For the price of treadmills, which has been a major shock to me for what you get, it just seems like some effort should go into upgrades, modules, something, anything, and yet, none seem to have any. I built my 16k dollar computer which is also a simulator which I soon plan to add hydraulics, so if you're watching Nordi, or Peloton, I'm available for a percent of your profits if you want to truly revolutionize this market for the better! Smiley face.

If you haven't looked at the Wahoo KICKR Run treadmill, I definitely would. It's super cool, and I really hope it raises the bar for treadmill tech going forward.

Very, very cool! It does seem to lack a few things, well, from what I can see on their site. No heart monitoring from what I see so far, but the features it does mention, like the use of a TV and the responsive surface sound great! Thank you so much! Much more research to do on it, but very interesting.

which of the motorized treadmills on your list is the softest and more cushioned for impact in your opinion?

Which is better running on road or on a treadmill I have one but it is like maybe the cheapest type??
@BestTreadmillReviews Жыл бұрын
Running on a treadmill is great for recovery and increasing your mileage, and it provides a softer landing than the road. A good soft treadmill would be the NordicTrack 1750. Road running is a great way to prepare for a race or become a stronger runner. The Sole F80 and F63 are great treadmills if you want a firm treadmill that feels like road running.
@SoCalVipers Жыл бұрын
If it's too hot or too cold, or raining, or too dark outside, the Road is not so great. A treadmill is always there for you! But, It's amazing to get out and see the world while you are running. Also, you can push yourself by running away from home knowing that you still need to return. At my age, I feel like a treadmill is safer - the surface is soft and consistent and I'm less likely to turn an ankle or trip and fall. Some days, when I don't feel like pushing myself, it's great to put on a 45 minute TV show on my ipad as I run/jog.

I am considering a Sole F63 but I am a little concerned if it is capable enough for faster running. @@thru_and_thru Great question! It's hard to say as so many factors go into what a treadmill can handle. In general, I would say you could do this sort of workout maybe a couple times per week on the F63. If you are training on it every single day, I would consider the F80 or a similar treadmill.
