Thank you Albert! Will put this tune on my rig tomorrow! I was bummed there was no integrated black box on this FC. This definitely makes my life easier. I agree that the stock tune is very sloppy. I have the Analog version and can get about 3:45 flight time on the 450 batteries. Hopefully the tune and filtering helps lengthen that time. I also get some vibrations on throttle punches. Looking forward to the improvements with bi- directional. Thanks again!
@2slowtv1053 жыл бұрын
@@TheDroneNerd It flies better. For me I needed do the HD cli dump instead of the cinematic, push the FF more and back the filters back down to 1 to get it to respond like I want for indoor flying. I also had to take the PD gain down to keep the motors from getting too hot. Still playing with it though. As for the vibrations I get a ton on the raw video but once you apply Flowstate in the Insta 360 app it goes away nicely. I’m working on a YT video where you’ll see a comparison. Trying to get it finished later this week.

Flying smooth as butter. At least that's what it feels like and looks like in the goggles. Haven't looked at footage yet. With all of the same adjustments with the difference being my p and d gain are at 1.3 for flying 850mah batteries. I'm getting 7 minutes flight time. And that's with half the pack just kinda cruising and floating and the other half is speed shots. It's almost too much time. 😆 This was all outside with minimal breezes, but still there. Anyway, thanks for the vid. Really helped save me some time and get some of my own testing in.

Don't use the CLI dump, it will turn it into a paper weight. The CLI dump only works on the V3 FC. You can try and put in the settings manually as I showed in the video but back off P and D gain from 1.4 to 1.2. Again, don't use the CLI dump as it will brick your quad.

When I bought mine I had an issues with the crossfire connection. Where and how did you wire the receiver to?
@mrb29173 жыл бұрын
The PNP version has UART1 reassigned for camera control (start/stop recording on the SMO 4K). I flashed mine in Betaflight to the factory settings using the bone stock firmware for the flight controller. This made UART1 work again and let me use a plug on my Crossfire Nano on the UART3 plug input (which also didn't work for whatever reason from the factory). You should back up the diff all in betaflight before wiping out the firmware, this way you can reapply all of the settings like the motor mapping (don't reapply any resource mapping that mentions PINIO, that's the camera control stuff). Also be sure after flashing the flight controller you choose 'yes' for apply default settings when prompted.

Angle mode looks at the base tune, but then modifies it (usually boosting), so that's probably why the base tune feels "better" in angle mode.

That would make sense. They probably are gearing this towards those that fly angle mode.

Thanks for video. You say it's the best setting, but the device you're flying with still has a little jello. Why? I wonder if there is a solution to this?
@AlbertKimTV3 жыл бұрын
As I mentioned, it's a design flaw because the FPV camera is mounted directly to the frame. So any motor or prop vibrations will create jello. If the motors and props are perfectly 100% balanced then no jello but that's very unlikely at these cost levels.

There's still some jello. Not much you can do to get rid of it because the camera is mounted directly on the frame where the motors are mounted with no vibration dampening.
