Trek must be doing this locally for the US market because in Europe Canyon still blows them away on pricing. Here in Ireland the SL6 is €6,200 ($6,600) and is basic 105 with no Di2 and specs in at 8.4 kG. A Canyon Aeroad CF Slx with full Ultegra Di2 or SRAM Force wrap weighing under 8kg is under €6k. And the Canyon comes with a power meter. Appreciate all the LbS, support and other reasons someone would go Trek but right now over here at least Canyon is still unrivalled for value.

I still ride my 2013 Trek Madone P1 , w/ Zipp 404 NSW wheels , rim brake. And DA shimano group set which has no issues based on the recall. That’s good . nothings broken on my bike. Nothing ever did break on the bike. and what I paid for this bike minus the wheels mind you and with Dura Ace back , was less than what Treks are selling for now. I did get somewhat of a discount as a crash replacement. I had to strip the bike down and turn in the frame wasn’t my fault. I got crashed into, but Treks loyalty program allowed for the discount. I can’t justify myself upgrading the bike or getting anything new with disc brakes. It still rides the way it does.

one thing you got wrong(on accident, I know) was the wheels. Those are the pro wheels, not the Elite which is what you stated. you can clearly see it reads Aeolus Pro 51 when you are looking at that front derailleur.
