Thanks for the video, a couple questions: What made you choose this over the REP FT 3000 or 5000? Where are you getting your extra accessories from? Safe to say pretty much anything will work from Rogue etc? I’ve considered this with a back widow attachment. Do you feel you get a good range of motion for your lat pull down and is it enough weight? Lastly, where did you get your rings to hang from the rig, that’s a sweet set up for that. Thanks again for your effort in the video. Haven’t bought yet but if I do I’ll use your link.

I have purchased several Titan Fitness products and I think they are underrated. I suspect they had some quality control issues in their early days, but since 2018 or so, when I started making purchases, they have been great. I'm a powerlifter and trained in a powerlifting gym that had top notch equipment from Elitefts and Rogue. When my cousin closed that gym I bought some of the better pieces of equipment, but wanted a SSB and had only used the Elitefts version. However, they are really high, so I bought the Titan Fitness SSB v2 and it is, in my opinion, superior to every other SSB I've used. The sleeves are the same diameter as an Olympic barbell and the padding, handles and features are top notch. Since then I've bought several other, smaller items from Titan and I actually prefer Titan to Rogue. Perhaps I am a bit biased, but Rogue sells a great deal of overpriced gimmicky junk. They make quality racks and some of the best barbells, but their prices and shipping are just stupid high. Titan has always done right by me. Bells of Steel is another, often overlooked, company that makes great equipment. Rep Fitness is great, but their margins are creeping up as well.

Good informative review. Question 1: I am 6’3” tall would I get a decent stretch when doing lat pull downs? Question 2: Have you brought both weight stacks together and connected them with a carabiner than attached any of the bars like the lat bar or row bar ? I don’t see why you can’t do it ! Other similar machines you can do it, it doesn’t give you more weight it’s just positions the attachments to the center of the rack instead of the user standing on one side of the machine.

Should of mentioned the ratio. I'm sure this will last practically forever. Look at those old bowflex gyms kept outside in backyards and people still buy them used. I'd say this is more marcy equivalent even then marcy home gym cages last forever.

One of the best reviews I've seen on You Tube. Very well done. I'm sold. How are you doing lat pulldowns on this as far as keeping your body down? What type of silicone spray are you using? The aluminum wheels are impressive. They didn't use plastic. Lots of attachments to boot. I was looking at the lat pull down and low row but this maybe a better option. I wonder if those gym 2.5 or 5 increment rubber over the stack add ons could be had. Never remember seeing them sold anywhere.

I would recommend super lube but u have been using a cheap silicone spray lubricant atm. Doing lat pull downs work both handles and seated on the floor. Sometimes I use the rope and do close grip pull downs of rows

How is this better than Rep Fitness? Kind of silly that is the title and thumbnail but you made no mention of how it compares. I will make the comparison for other veiwers. This is 672 lbs with 200 lb weight stacks and the Rep Fitness is 1000 lbs with 220 lb weight stacks. The extra weight speaks to the quality of the machine. I would expect the Rep Fitness to last longer. At $1899 i think you would be better off paying for shipping and spending the extra $100. From what I've made out the only real benefit to this machine is the attachments it comes with. The Rep Fitness only includes 2 regular 1 handed urethane handles.
@NoFate2474 жыл бұрын
Great breakdown, I'll pin this comment.
@BJerrell4 жыл бұрын
You do realize that the 200lb stacks are a 2:1 ratio. So each stack is only 100lbs of resistance. Essentially for the weight you choose you're only lifting 1/2 the stack per cable. Each 10lb jump in weight as you said is only 5lbs. Not heavy to moving up in weight at all and is standard for almost all functional trainers.
@NoFate2474 жыл бұрын
I have a degree in mechanical engineering, yes I know there is a 2:1 ratio. But the issue is still the same, the jumps between pins was an issue for my wife who doesn't lift as much weight so I thought it worth mentioning. If your super strong, the difference Between the second to last and last weight is not going to feel like anything. I had to do this review for the average or even below average user.

Same issue here. Their support worked with me to give me some ideas as the rods were backordered. Nothing worked as the rods are about 15/16th" so you couldn't fit a 1" pvc pipe piece in the bottom hole to take up that space. For the time being, I just pulled the rods up and put some tape around them and over the brace to hold them up in place.

Did you have the original one and not the newer and improved version? Unfortunately those machines are around $4000 and up and I'm working with $7000 right now to get everything i need. I get its not true commercial quality but close enough. The FT 5000 was back in stock today.....FINALLY... and I did end up buying it. As well as there FID bench for $279. One thing I am unhappy about is I didn't get the PR-4000 Leg Roller attachment I had in my order cart. That was also back in stock today. I tried for hours this morning to process my whole order and I kept getting a "gateway error transaction declined" message. After contacting them this morning through email, about not being able to process my order and I don't want to risk losing out on these in stock items. They finally get back to me late afternoon. Told me there was a glitch in there system and everyone trying to process orders today was getting the same message. That I should be able to complete my order now. Well after all that...... the leg roller attachment went out of stock 😡. I contacted them back about and my disappointment of now having to wait till its back in stock again. That now ill also have to pay another shipping charge too! When this would of been included in my order shipping cost today. All I got was an apology and that it should be back in stock again late December. You would think they maybe give you a 10% off code or free shipping when its available to order again. For the inconvenience of me losing my item in my cart because of their system not working properly. That I've been waiting forever to get back in stock.
