The Isley Brothers are actual brothers- all of which only two remain: Ernie and Ronald, their last brother Rudolph passing just last year. I think that’s big boy! The Isley Brothers are a musical institution that’s been around for 8 decades, and yes we count having hits in 1959!!!

THIS VERSION IS WAAAAAAAAYY BETTER THAN THE OTHER!!! Ask S/C, they’d probably agree. The Isley Bros are one of the greatest band ever also… they started in the 50’s and are still performing in 2024! For the record, Ernie Isley… Is one of the greatest guitar players as well. Not exactly sure why she chose a LIVE version… But actually, it doesn’t change anything for me… PURE FIRE! 🔥🔥🔥

Isley Brothers are mostly Brothers with different members since the 50's - Twist & Shout, That Lady (Latin 60's-Version), 70's That Lady, 80's Don't Let, Harvest to the world a.s.o. Ronald Isley was in jail for not paying income taxes - the inmates did everything for him due to good times with their girlfriends (the same things when listening to Barry White). Lot's of great albums like Between the sheets, Givin'it back (they made after Ohio university shooting (demonstration - police killed students).

WHO'S THAT LADY, LIVE IT UP, THE PRIDE, L8VIN' IN THE LIFE, & FIGHT THE POWER. These are some of the best songs from their 7o's run of hits. Best be ready to dance, cuz I know you like to. Thus is why their are covers of songs. Some prefer the originals, some prefer a different version. But it only speaks to the material being good enough to adapt to a variety of singers and styles. Stop with the fashion. If you like it, just say so. It was the 7o's girl. Between disco and the street style of the day, yes, the pimp look was popular. Maybe the Summer was blowing through her hair while they got busy in the field and jasmine filled the air. they are brothers. Keep going and enjoy

Well, you know anytime a song is sung with Soul, it's bound to sound drastically different than that of the version sung without Soul. Whitney Houston's Soul version of "I'll always love you" by Dolly Parton sounds drastically different from Dolly Parton's Western original 1974 version. Great singers and songs, just sung differently with their own personal spin to it. great reaction video Britt.

In 1973 the Isley Brothers (O'Kelly, Ronald, and Rudolf) released the iconic "3 + 3" album. This album is regarded as one of the 500 greatest albums of all time and launched a new phase of the Isley Brothers career. The Brothers had released 10 albums as a trio and had success with hits like "It's Your Thing" and "This Old Heart of Mine." For the 11th album they decided to make it even more of a family affair and brought in 3 additional members. These were 2 younger brothers (Ernie and Marvin) and their Brother-in-Law (Chris Jasper). This is where the 3+3 name comes from. The new members were all musicians, and this added a new element to the Isley Brothers sound. 3+3 if full of great original songs like "Who's That Lady (parts 1 & 2)", "You Walk Your Way" and "What It Comes Down To." In addition, there are several great covers included like "Summer Breeze" and "Don't Let Me Be Lonely Tonight." The Isley Brothers were a lot like "Johnny Rivers" in that they could take a cover song and make it their own. This is certainly true with their version of "Summer Breeze" which many consider better than the original. You should check out the original studio version of this song on 3+3. It's Surrealistic!
