Hello better biomed, I am from the Philippines working as a biomed and I also encounter one Operating Table that won't turn on, the model is Heyer Aegistic OP830. I already checked the wire connection but I haven't seen any problem. I can't dismantle the lower part since the hand control is not working and I cannot adjust the hydraulic to higher level. Do you have any idea what causes the problem why it can't turn on?? I need your help please.

Most American hydraulic tables have a manual pump for when the electronics stop working.

Justin who is your biomed double, that can't be you. Just kidding, great as always! I would suggesting getting a better work bench thou, I'm sure the hospital could afford a great work bench for a great biomed!

Hi Justin, have you ever replaced the screens for these hand controls? I'm wondering if you know of somewhere that I can source some replacements from. I've searched the different numbers on the screen itself, but haven't been able to find anything online that matches it yet.

Interesting. There may be some other methods for finding this part. Can you send me hi-res photos of the front and rear of the screen? Abetterbiomed@gmail.com

TS7000 ref.: 1767067 Some keyboard knobs gives just a short burs of table-movment, then it stops, keyboard on table works fine. Problem: keyboard PCB is flexing due to insuffisient support of main PCB in the remote caseing . -design flaw. Sollution: add support ie. an O-ring or a cloth to add pressure between the rear cover and main PCB

I'm having this issue, but adding something between the back case and the PCB to add pressure doesn't resolve it for me. The only time it seems to work is when I'm touching the PCB with my bare skin, as if I am adding a grounding element or absorbing electrical interference, but as soon as I take my hand away it stops working (I'm also not adding pressure to the PCB, only touching it very lightly). Do you have any other tips for solving this issue? Thanks

A capacitor blocks DC voltage. It would make no sense to power the controller from AC and use a blocking capacitor. What i think they are doing is having the capacitor between the case and the ground to isulate in case some fault develops in the power supply and ground becomes hot. It's an intrinsically safe way to build things, and also gives a lot of protection from ESD. The appliance in this case probably checks that this "safety" ground is in place before powering up.

The controller is powered by DC. Why do you believe it's powered by AC?
