Was not expecting automated 3rd row folding seats. Wow!🤯 The tailgate hold button is for handy dads who may want to haul wood or lumber that extends out the back. I suspect the vehicle wont go into drive if the tailgate is open unless you press the auto hold button to override.

Beautiful color. I think this will be the first ev from Korea which sells very very well here in the U.S. Once it's built in the new savannah GA metaplant and qualifies for the tax credits from late 2024 or 2025. 👍🏻

Thanks James. This is the first video I've seen of the EV9 being driven. I have a '23 Telluride (also in red) and am on the reserve list to get the EV9. Do you know if the EV9 is larger than the Telluride? From the looks of it, it appears to be around the same size.
@cartiglobal
@cartiglobal Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching the video. The Telluride is not a domestic model here in Korea and i think it is driven only in the North Americas?(correct me if I am wrong) But i'm thinking that it is about the same size as the Mohave. Not sure about the third row but the second row is definitely bigger. I was actually amazed because I thought I was in the carnival(Sedona) :) It was SPACIOUS!!
@thecageybee

I had a '22 Carnival and that minivan still had more space throughout than the Telluride. But it was pretty hard to park because it was so wide. Anyway, lookin forward to getting my hands on the new EV

Thanks for the video. This is the first time I’ve seen it driven. Seems like a great car if you need the size. It’ll be interesting to see what it sells for here in the US. Your can get an EV 6 for below MSRP now, but a year ago dealers were charging above MSRP. I imagine it’ll be the same with the EV 9.
@cartiglobal

Thanks for watching the video. It was same here. It was/is so popular and due to semiconductor shortage, even used cars were sold at higher prices than new cars. Ridiculous! But, the EV9 sure is an awesome electric SUV!!

Thanks for the Review in Eng! I've been anticipating a driven review to see how it drives etc. In all honesty I'm not a big fan of the overly boxy design (palisade, soul looking), but guess it has to be for such a spacious SUV. I'm in Korea and in need for a bigger family car. I've drove the EV6 and Ionic as rentals and sooo converted to EV's now. Will definitely book a test drive asap. My options are new Grandeur, Genesis GV80, Palisade, EV6, EV9. Do you have any other recommendations?
@cartiglobal
@cartiglobal Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching the video. Hmm...u said.u dont like boxy types. Its hard for me to reccomend u other options bc I do not know what u r looking for in cars. U want something fun? The EV6 GT is what u r looking for. If u want something spacious and practical, the Sorento 2.5T is a good option as well. U want something cutting edge with space, then the Carnival or EV9 it is. The GV80 is great too but a bit pricey IMO. I have 2 daughters and I need something bigger(currently driving 3 series). I hate to admit but the Carnival was suitable for my wife and gals all around :) I think it has to do a lot with what u r looking for and what u need un cars. It's always best to test drive all ur options and find/buy whats best. The EV9 surely is nice but South Korea still needs to develop a lot more charing infrastructure. EVs are nice but I think at the moment Hybrid is more ideal. Again, its only my personal opinion :) Have a great weekend and thanks for watching the video again!

Thanks for watching the video. Both the second row and the third row fold down. And it has the V2L in the trunk. I don't know what exactly the camp mode is but if you want to camp in the car you can :)
@sethwatson5797
@sethwatson5797 Жыл бұрын
@@cartiglobal good to know thank you! Was not sure if it was long enough to sleep in. "camp mode" means there is a thermostat in the screen program that can heat or cool the interior at night if your sleeping in the car. This way you can camp in winter if needed when traveling, and the you don't wake up with frozen moisture in the interior in the morning. On another note. I like the way you talk about the drive feel. Your really or feeling Into the vehicle and communicate that well. As a result I have a better understanding of the vehicle. 🙏
@cartiglobal

Thanks for the reply. Now I know what the camp mode is. Hyundai, genesis, kia they don't pay me. And the last thing I'd like to do when I review is kiss a**. However I am amazed by how much they have improved.I try to explain what I feel and how I feel. .I'm really happy that the video is very helpful!! Thank you so much

When I started, the total distance that can be driven was at 385km and after driving about 220km round trip I was still able to drive more than 100km. The battery efficiency is close to what the manufacturer said. Driving on Sports mode majority of the driving time, it wasn't bad at all

$80,000 for a vehicle that goes 0-60 in 10 seconds. Car manufacturers have loat their minds.

Thanks for watching the video. If u r looking for something fast, u should go for the EV6, not 9. I believe 0-60 is at/about 5-6sec. A few of influencers actually tried 0-60 here in South Korea and they marked 5.14sec :)
