Probably my favorite job was working a grounds crew at a big golf course in my early 20's. We'd start about 5am mowing, fixing divots, picking rocks, cutting trees, raking bunkers. I loved the variety of work. If only it paid better 🤷 Great video! So much work goes into keeping those courses beautiful!

A lot of disease pressure and limitations on certain weed controls for bent so it can get very expensive to maintain

When I built my home putting green I did so with a massive amount of help from my country club superintendent. These guys are scientists. They aren't landscapers, they know the why behind all of this. I enjoy talking with my superintendent about turf more than one could ever imagine. They make KZbins amount of info look small.
