Not sure were did you saw hints of a romance between Nos and Mae. There wasn’t any. 😅

And also the fact that the film stated he likes Soona, even Mae said it lol
@katy2176-p3m3 ай бұрын
@@adrianamontalvo7472 it's probably because they have more chemistry and are on screen together a lot more than noa/soona. the film seems to pick up on this parallel as you have the scene where noa has to choose between them and he struggles lol. it's more subtle but it's definately there.

Grace is way off the mark mentioning that there was ANY sort of implied romance between Mae and Noa whatsoever. There wasn’t even an inkling of an implication that there even would be a romance…. Just because Noa is nice to Mae eventually doesn’t mean he has feelings for her and vice versa
@adrianamontalvo74724 ай бұрын
And they made it very clear that he likes Soona, Mae asked him: "You like her". Also even in the end of the movie, they traveled together, like it was obvious

Marketing has to be weak these days for a movie to make the biggest possible profit, since much of the causal audience has abandoned causally going to the movie theaters. With this new reality the only way a movie is going to make a profit is if it is highly anticipated, in which case, there is not much point in a serious and expensive marketing blitz anyways. This means new IPs are going to have to have seriously reduced budgets to make it worth seeing if a sequel can become highly anticipated.

People should have never doubted Wes Ball :) What he did with the Maze Runner with SUCH a limited budget will always be mindblowing to me. Those movies look like 200$ pictures. Those 3 movies also don't feel as bloated or stretched out as other properties based on books, so I was pretty onboard with his directing skills from the getgo.

I know everyone wants to forget Mark Wahlberg's 2001 Planet of the Apes. But if you'll recall in the final scene when Captain Davidson is trying to escape back to his time, he ends up traveling to another time where there is a civilization of apes that resembles our current time with cops ambulances and apparently their ape version of Abraham Lincoln. 😅

It shares a lot of the same themes of our relationship with nature, and as you mentioned does share some similarities with Avatar. Grace, Foundation is the kind of story that would have you saying “it’s one of the best things I ever saw.” • It took me a few eps to get in, fully, and I didn’t think it was the kind of thing I would be into. • And yet you walk away wondering if you’ll ever see anything as brilliant as Foundation again. As soon as you watch it, you’ll wish you had watched it sooner.

Nope, it is not about time. We could have diverged last week but if the changes are not compatible, inbreeding is not possible. It has to do more about the chromosome count.

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes Review- As a person that believes that the first Planet of the Apes is a top ten movie of all time for SciFi I pretty much enjoyed all the sequels This movie features great acting and special effects but the speed of the movie is slow death. I appreciate that you don't have to see any of the prior movies to understand the movie. With that said, I think you may enjoy it more if you had not seen the others. I could write a 📕 on how many questions I have with instances and plot decisions on this movie. Due to the standard of the past films I have to lower the score for this even though there was some positives. A 6 out of 10 but to be honest I have no desire to sit through 2 plus hours of the movie again.
